Spell's Midnight Tales

In the night, there is a voice calling the names. The freelance journalist records six independent and interconnected horror stories in the first person: folklore from East Asia and Western Europe, urban ghost stories, personal experiences, ancient legends and suspicious extraterrestrial contacts intersect. Each volume is a mystery of its own, but it all leaves the same traces - a buzz of about 410 hertz, an old comb with missing teeth, and a two-part question that sounds at a critical moment. Pseudo-documentary materials such as interviews, surveillance, work orders, obituaries, claims and rosters continue to appear, and the truth is only approached at the functional level: how it appears, what it can do, and what it wants; as for what it is, the answer is carefully left in the margins.
