The Record of Conquering Demons in the West Chamber

Zhang Sheng, a down-and-out Confucian scholar, went to Beijing to take the exam with his ancestral "Xixiang Brushwork" and met Cui Yingying, a half-fox girl at Pujiu Temple. The two have a secret love, but they are involved in the demon's conspiracy to subvert the world.
