Krovic

Twelve-year-old Alicia was born in a family where all generations of magicians have been magicians. She has excellent talents, but is always regarded as a flower in the greenhouse because of her introverted personality. One day, among a pile of admission letters, she received an invitation from the Klovitch Academy of Magic in the North—a school that ranked at the bottom every year, but was said by some to be "a place where you can learn real skills." Her parents' hesitation, Old Joe's hint, and the slightly provocative postscript in the letter made her seriously consider the possibility of leaving her familiar life for the first time. The cold winter, rigorous courses and unknown dangers of Krovitch are all still in the haze of the future. She didn't know what was waiting for her, she only knew that the wind there would make her remember every step.
