Do I Have to Buy a Data Plan for My Mana, Too?

“Magic Net Operations Department”

Dear Magic Net Wizard,

Your mana data plan has entered a new billing period.

When drawing mana from the Magic Net, please check your usage on the Magic Net scroll regularly to avoid exceeding your data allowance.

We strongly recommend purchasing an additional mana data package to avoid the hefty fees incurred by going over your allowance.

Sign up for a data package now and enjoy a huge discount of up to 100 gold coins.

In another world teeming with monsters and roaming races, Li Nuo was born into a realm ruled by the Magic Net.

Mana comes from the Magic Net rather than meditation, while meditation techniques determine one's mana capacity.

Magic Net wizards must rent or purchase everything from spells to meditation techniques from the Magic Net Operations Department.

Offline meditation techniques and spells that don't require a Magic Net connection do exist, but most come with hidden risks.

The crushing costs of tuition and data fees leave commoner wizards struggling to breathe.

Fortunately, Li Nuo may be a commoner wizard, but he has a strange dream for a companion.

When he first brought a wondrous object back from a dream, the Magic Net and its debts could no longer hold him back. Before long, he would turn the tables and take control of his own destiny.
