As Usual, the Story Starts with a Failed Check

An adventurer's story usually begins in a dim little tavern, with a watered-down mug of cheap ale and a job clearing rats out of a cellar.

But Xia Lin's story began with a necklace bought as a filler item to get a five-yuan discount at a board game shop when spending 200 yuan.

When he landed in the Stolen Lands of Golarion clutching a board game expansion pack, he was greeted by more than a dozen halberds aimed at his throat and all sorts of failed checks!

To stay alive, Xia Lin had no choice but to grit his teeth and assemble a wildly mismatched, unlucky adventuring party.
