Black Dragon: The Dragon of Destruction and Salvation

In the Prime Material Plane, there is a place like this. They say that deep in a forest of lush trees and dense undergrowth lives a black dragon. He is immensely powerful. His acid breath can fill people with despair and dissolve anything solid, yet the lands around his lair are always teeming with life. Beneath these mountains, an army of monsters, wholly commanded by the drow, has built the black dragon an unprecedented underground kingdom. But the drow maiden leading them worships the very being the Spider Queen hates most: Eilistraee, the Dark Maiden. Some say this is nothing but a fairy tale, because such a thing could never happen. Others say it is true, because they have witnessed the black dragon's greatness with their own eyes. In fact, Carlos has never hidden his identity. On the contrary, as long as visitors are willing to follow the rules, his territory welcomes them. But a mighty dragon is not made simply by sleeping, and likewise, a perfect territory cannot be built on a whim. This is the story of a black dragon's rise: beginning with a dragon egg transported as “cargo,” he fights his way up step by step until he finally builds a territory of his own.
