1983: Turning My Life Around After Taking In a Female Educated Youth

In his previous life, Yang Mingyuan and Song Shuyao, a young educated woman, were framed together. To protect her innocence, he did everything he could to deny any connection between them.

But rumors are cruel. Song Shuyao was driven to throw herself into a river, while he was left with a ruined reputation and a wasted half-life.

Reborn in the summer of 1983, he decides to live differently this time.

If he can't avoid being caught up in the scheme, then he'll just marry her!

From street vending and small-time business to opening a shop, from trading government bonds to taking over a township factory, from real estate development to building a business empire, he rides the tide of reform and opening up to the top.

But... watching Song Shuyao hide their marriage certificate and claim she can't find it, Yang Mingyuan can't help wondering: did he end up getting himself tangled in this too?
