Heroes of Might and Magic: I Became the Black Dragon Overlord by Devouring

When the undead plague of Sandro, the Lich King, swept across the continent, no one could have imagined that a dragon egg falling into an underground cavern would completely change the balance of power in Enroth.

Luo Wei opened his slit pupils and discovered he had been reborn as a black dragon hatchling, hatched by troglodytes.

Devour a sulfur deposit and grow searing flame wings. Tear out a medusa's eye and gain a petrifying gaze. Chew up the Armageddon's Blade and master the Judgment of Armageddon.

With the Devouring Evolution System, he cultivates countless powerful troops and conquers the underground faster than the undead can spread:

[Dragon Moss Caverns] cultivate mutated troglodytes; [Evil Eye Focusing Towers] are converted into laser arrays; [Scorpicore Knights] see minotaurs ride scorpicores into a charge from the skies. Who says an underground kingdom has to live in the shadows?

When his treacherous allies break their pact, Luo Wei's claws are already at the throats of every race.

Minotaur axes shatter the barriers of holy light, the Evil Eye Overmind beguiles the tower mages, and lava from the Armageddon Volcano is already pouring into the mold of his throne of doom.

“They fight the plague, while I devour it.”

Wings that blot out the sky whip up a sulfur storm. A Titan arrow corroded by dragon blood hangs above the human capital. “Now it's time for Enroth to learn how to face a black dragon overlord.”
