The Grand Strategist of the Realm

The Founding Elder of State centers on the eunuch Yang Fugong in the final years of the Tang dynasty.

At the time, the Tang dynasty was beset by troubles at home and abroad, with regional warlords carving up the realm and eunuchs vying for power.

Starting out as a lowly eunuch, Yang Fugong rose by exploiting rivalries among the eunuchs and emerged victorious from the power struggle.

When the regional warlords rebelled, he took the initiative to suppress them and succeeded, bringing his prestige and power to their peak.

But afterward, his arrogance and overreach provoked public outrage. The emperor plotted his downfall, and after he was imprisoned and forced to reflect, he was executed.

Later, Qiu Shiliang followed in his footsteps.

Although the Tang dynasty had rid itself of the eunuch menace, it remained trapped by problems such as the regional warlords.

The future was full of challenges and crises.
