The Villain System of a Cultivator

Under the tribulation of heavenly lightning, Lu Ce fails to ascend. In the end, he disembodies himself, preserving a sliver of his true spirit to enter the cycle of reincarnation.

But something seems wrong with this reincarnation?

“This isn’t the cultivation world! Where have I been sent?” Lu Ce looks on helplessly at the “colorful” humans before him, filled with curiosity.

“What kind of place is America?”

[Ding! Villain System successfully bound. Become the ultimate villain and you can earn one wish!]

“A wish? Can I become an immortal? Go back to the cultivation world?”

[Yes!]

“How?”

[Become the world’s greatest villain, and you can become immortal!]

“A villain? So, I just have to be a bad guy? Easy! I’ve never been a bad guy, but I’ve killed evil cultivators. How hard can it be?”

And then...

“I’ll make them work ten hours a day, with overtime every month. That should be pretty evil, right?”

“I’ll make them drink vegetable soup and eat bread, with no meat at all! They can live in company dorms, one person to a one-bedroom apartment!”

“If that doesn’t work, I’ll kill a couple of people!”

Lu Ce thought.

“Wait, why are they grateful when I make them work overtime? Just because they get insurance? Justice points +2,000?”

“Providing room and board makes me a great philanthropist? Another 5,000 justice points?”

“Then I’ll go kill someone! Evil points +1. Great! Wait, what do you mean I killed a heinous criminal and got 10,000 justice points?”

“So I can’t even kill people?”

“What kind of world is this? How can people be so evil?”

“How am I ever supposed to earn enough evil points to become the ultimate villain?”
