Naruto Uzumaki died on the night of the Nine-Tails' attack, the night he was born. Much of the Konoha High Command perished, the Five Great Nations were left in ruins, the Hokage faction was forced into exile, and the Uchiha took complete control of Konoha. The protagonist is an experimental subject created by exiled Konoha shinobi as part of their plan to strike back. He was made by combining some of Naruto's cells with various other cells. During the final stage of the experiment, Black Zetsu and the Uchiha discovered him. Instead of killing the protagonist, Black Zetsu secretly increased the dosage, hoping to transform him completely and keep him as a backup piece in case anything went wrong...
