At the beginning of all things, three eternal and unchanging systems came into being: the World Tree, Chaos, and the Great Abyss. From these three eternal systems sprang an endless multiverse, forever caught in cycles of creation and destruction. The World Tree draws power from the Great Abyss and Chaos to grow. The Great Abyss breaks down and destroys universes nearing their end, returning them to their primordial energy and feeding Chaos's expansion. A jade pendant leapt across dimensions, carrying a soul from Chaos through endless planes and into a primitive world within the World Tree, where gods and demons coexisted. Evil gods and false gods abound throughout the cosmos. They feed on life and regard all living beings as fuel. This is the beginning of cultivation, the starting point on the path to transcendence. A vast, mysterious world of gods and demons slowly unfolded before him. Passion surged like erupting lava, sorrow stretched on like an endless sea of suffering, and the future was as dark as the dawn... There are no chance encounters or treasures that appear out of nowhere. Even when such treasures are found, they should be avoided like snakes and scorpions.
