I Play the Demon King in Liaozhai

In the thirteenth year of Chongning, the Ming Dynasty, ruler of the Central Plains, is already beset by crises.

The Flood Dragon Demon King in the north wants to invade the south. The Bull Demon King in the west is being relentlessly pursued by the God of Salvation and can only flee east. The Sun Goddess in the east wants to cross the sea, while warships belonging to the Goddess of War have appeared in the southern ocean.

In this world where humans, ghosts, immortals, demons, gods, and devils coexist, Lu Xiu has no great ambitions.

Since there’s already a Supreme Heavenly Emperor above all gods, I’ll be the ultimate Demon King among devils.

“I stop lecherous scoundrels. It’s not because I’m trying to steal the Peony Fairy from Donghua.”

“Repaying a debt of gratitude doesn’t have to mean offering yourself in marriage.”

“I’m sincere.”
