The First Emperor’s Empress: My Confucian Sage Keeps Wanting to Become a Martial God

In this world, once a scholar nurtures a fated book spirit, they can gain extraordinary power. Ji Qinglin studied hard for ten years, on the verge of making something of himself, when a distant relative's rebellion implicated him in the crime. On the execution ground, the prisoner's eyes suddenly turned a pure gold. His oppressive aura was like a living hell, and everyone fell to their knees. [Fated Book Spirit: Qin Shi Huang (female)] [Ancestral Dragon's Blessing (Passive): Cultivate your spirit through study, and advance in martial arts by leaps and bounds each day] [Ancestral Dragon's Domain (Active): To see me is to see the Ancestral Dragon. All things must kneel] From then on, reading Records of the Grand Historian summoned the God of Death, Bai Qi, while reading Romance of the Three Kingdoms called forth peerless Lu Bu. A turn through Journey to the West even brought forth the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, who smashed the heavenly palace with a single strike of his staff! The healer Bai Suzhen, the mighty Heavenly Dragon Fahai, Zhang Sanfeng, peerless in both fists and sword, and Zhang Daoling, master of the Five Thunders orthodox magic... Ji Qinglin cultivated his spirit through study, refining one book spirit after another. When the female emperor first ascended the throne, the late emperor's edict appointed him Grand Minister of State. The court's ministers denounced him for seducing the empress and throwing the court into chaos. He summoned the phantom of Confucius in response, and the sage's ruler shattered the ministers' scholarly courage! The heavens rebelled, joining forces with beings from beyond the realms to attack the human ancestral homeland. An extraterritorial Ancestral God smashed the Confucian temple in the ancestral homeland and sneered, “Scholars, we have shattered the River of Time, and every book spirit in the world has perished. How do you plan to defend this homeland now...?” Ji Qinglin tore open his blue scholar's robe, revealing muscles knotted like dragons. The Dao pattern for “Virtue” behind him stretched across the starry river. “Confucius said: Subdue others with virtue.” A Martial God, vast as a star, descended from the heavens. With one hand, he hammered the heavens into submission, then ground the Ancestral God's head into the earth again and again. “Today, with this martial virtue of mine, I'll send you all to the next life!”
