Hitchhiker's Guide to the Dome

Fang Lin, a young man with five talents in the 21st century, picked up a metal ball with cold light under a park bench. As soon as his fingertips touched the surface of the ball, he suddenly fell into 1990, another earth. He became the "Mind Flayer", the most serious criminal in the Human Federation, and his crime was certain - he would be used as a living experiment sample and thrown into the "dome" that appeared out of thin air in 1980 and was later heavily guarded by IDMA (International Dome Management Authority). What made him even more confused was that when the metal ball was embedded in his chest, countless bizarre worlds seemed to flash before his eyes.
