As a follow-up reader starting from Death God Eternal Life, I have seen many old character templates and more innovative story narrative logic in Dada's new book. It can be clearly seen that Dada has made a transformational breakthrough in this book. (˘ ³˘)❤ This post is based on my comprehensive perspective of reading Ah Fei's many novels. I will make an evaluation of this book based on my understanding of it. I may criticize this style change more than praise it. Please forgive me. I also hope that Ah Fei can write better and better. ヽ(*ﾟｰﾟ*)ﾉ The first thing is to respond to the content of our post. I think there are two impressive plot creations. The first one is a flashback at the beginning of this story. At that time, the incident of Roddy killing people and being imprisoned in Moon City was directly unfolded in flashback. On the one hand, it made the early stage of the story very three-dimensional. At the same time, I don't know if Ah Fei had such considerations in the flashback. The backwardness of him and Roddy as the main attributes in the end is based on the cleverness of the plot. I think it is very well written. (/^▽^)/ The second one is of course the final battle with the Crimson King. The dimension-enhancing technique used here is more innovative in terms of vision than the previous decisive battles with Goodman or the malicious boss. It can also be clearly seen that Ah Fei has made a breakthrough in this regard. I like Ah Fei's books to a large extent and also like Ah Fei's structure of the universe framework. I think Da Da's creativity is very three-dimensional. Then we get to the point where we tend to criticize. Frankly speaking, I think this book has a big decline in writing power compared to the previous books. Fortunately, there is a big surprise at the end. ╥╥ Let me first talk about two common problems that have always been seen in several of Ah Fei's novels. The first is the problem of teammate abandonment. I think this is what Ah Fei must face on the road to transformation in writing group portrait novels, but there has always been the problem of staged teammates. Take the "Laogao's Resurrection Tournament" meme as an example. In fact, behind the scenes, everyone hopes that the old characters can be more connected to the main line development. I feel that Overlord is a victim of periodic teammate problems. By the time the protagonist grows up, he has already withdrawn from the environment. There are many more pitiful teammates, I have forgotten about them hahahahahahaha. ಠ_ಠ The second problem is the lack of performance in the decisive battle. This performs well on Killer God and Cells, but the problem becomes more and more prominent on Gentlemen and Living People. I feel that while Ah Fei has written various memory kills, he will also strengthen how the protagonist fights the big boss with various moves and world effects, so that the story will be more tense.ヽ(°◇° )ノ Then let me talk about three issues why I think this book is weaker than its predecessors. First, and what I think is the most serious thing is that Rody's growth curve has a serious delusion. It is difficult to intuitively feel the comparison of strength between Rody and the people around him, and there is a feeling of strength and weakness. Moreover, this issue raises several ancillary issues. On the one hand, Roddy's leaping growth has made the staged teammate problem just now more serious. The readers have no idea what everyone's level is, and they are thrown away because of various adventures. On the other hand, Luo Di's characterization is a big failure of this book. Although he is crucial to the final victory in the finale, and I can see Ah Fei's design, my impression of him is indeed not as deep as that of Hua Yuan, the squad leader, the question mark, and even Hunter. Luo Di gave me a way of upgrading in the early stage by relying on training and fighting with teammates to the death, and in the later stages of upgrading purely by relying on reverse driving to fight with others uniquely. I think the characters can be created in the invincible style, but Roddy's deflated style + jumping invincible style makes the article weird. Even if Han Dong gave him a magic sword in the later stage, made major reinforcements, and told the story of the magic sword well, it would not make the subsequent impression worse and worse. Another aspect is that as the protagonist, Luo Di does not play a good role as the glue in group portrait novels. Of course, this is a matter of opinion. It may also be because I am not used to the narratives of Yu Jing and Han Dong. (●__●) Second, it is part of the clown portrayal in this book. I think a book needs to have a deep villain and a pure Joker, but this doesn't mean that the Joker should drag on to the finale. Yu Ze's identity change is a bit too far-fetched. Readers think he is a person with a story, but they did not expect that he has a clown story. Moreover, Yu Ze does not die as cleanly as Pennywise and Art (although the real clown is Jock, but the level of this clown is a bit less than satisfactory). This makes Yu Ze's creation fragmented in character and incomplete in story. As a design that survives to the later stage, there is more room for improvement. ┐(ﾟдﾟ┐) The third is the dependence on the previous task space and the unfamiliarity with transformation. Ah Fei is obviously good at writing mission explorations in independent different worlds, and he also writes interesting adaptations of horror movies. However, this book is not very good at writing about the exploration of the big world. The small dungeon exploration in the deep corners has the flavor of the past. I think they basically mentioned the perennial problems in Ah Fei's books, which make the characters generally unlikable. I hope Ah Fei can take a look: 1. The character creation is too smooth The success of the character cannot come too easily, otherwise it will be difficult for people to resonate. ·The more effort your character puts in and the more failures he experiences, the more readers will like your character. 2. You wrote a self-projective character. (1) The whiny character: The reader can clearly feel that the author is speaking through the mouth of the character. (2) "Desire Projection": The author created this character purely for self-satisfaction. ·Learn to keep a distance and maintain boundaries with your characters 3. The character you create lacks an inner world When writing, you should consider how to add more inner activities to this scene and gain a deeper insight into the inner world of the character. ·Is there any text in Chapter 1 that consists entirely of the character's inner monologue? 4. You wrote a tool character (1) MacGuffin-style character: the meaning of existence is to be protected or saved, without any subjective initiative or right of choice, or even a distinct personality. (2) Explanation Elf: Its only role is to provide information or background. (3) Red Shirts: Please refer to "A Song of Ice and Fire" for the way to deal with the death of characters. The author first makes you fall in love with the characters, and then lets you invest your true feelings in killing them cruelly. 5. The character lacks a sense of crisis The sense of involvement in the fate of the character is too weak, and it is difficult for readers to resonate with it. It is best to set up at least four levels of stakes: (1) The overall crisis related to the survival of the world; (2) The destruction of ethnic groups and collectives; (3) The threat of the character himself; (4) The psychological game inside the character. 6. Have been describing the character directly "Show, don't tell" The character behaves contrary to the personality? (1) Go back and modify the plot to make the behavior consistent with the character's consistent personality. (2) Highlight this behavior and show it as a major change in the role. 7. Failure to provide reasonable basis for negative characters (1) Avoid over-explanation. Over-explanation of negative traits will make readers suspicious and make readers hate the character. Just give some reasonable explanation. (2) But if you write about horror, pure evil is the core of the story. Not every monster needs a tragic origin story. Sometimes pure malice is scarier than malice with a reason.

Let me complain, I have read chapter 246 so far, and I feel that it is a bit high and low. The previous two volumes of Sound and Taste are perverted and exciting enough, but since entering the Moon City, the plot has become dull. Moreover, the character of Harley Quinn is really not likable, including the frequent whipping of Gao Gao in this chapter, which also feels not good.

It's a very progressive book. However, in the later period, I felt that it might have been written in a hurry. The system suddenly switched throughout the day, and the corners and hell systems that were relatively unified with the protagonist suddenly changed. Yue and others are more messy, and the characteristics of the murderer are not reflected. Maybe the overall layout of Ah Fei has been sped up for some reason, and the corner and hell system suddenly become unworthy of mention, which is a bit inexplicable. The transition is a bit stiff, which makes the subsequent look and feel strange. The story lines of several dungeons in the middle have really been greatly improved.

The mystery in the corner also fits the suspense classification of this book, making people want to find out. I remember that every time some corner-related settings appeared at that time, it would make me feel more satisfied with knowing more about the corner, including corner coins, corner wanted orders, etc. If the feeling that the corner brings to me is a feeling of mystery and wanting to have a glimpse of its true face, then the feeling that the real hell gives me is a feeling of nostalgia. I miss the original chainsaw manual. When I see the appearance of the chainsaw spine, this emotion really reaches its highest point. Although the elements of the prologue Hell Monk are repeated from the previous books, I still like the image of Mr. Hawke. There are still many things that can be written slowly, just like Yi Chen's slow experience in the City of Evil. The result really made me a little bit unbearable. Also because of the hasty ending, I felt like I couldn't properly shape the last group of death row inmates. At least compared to the group of death row inmates in the Central Prison who were the disaster in the evil city in The Last Gentleman, the death row inmates in the central prison were really inferior. The final big boss didn't have much sense of existence, and it wasn't as oppressive as Jock the Clown or even the Limp. It feels almost like the president of my cell prison. Next is the waste of many settings. Although this is also an old problem of the author, I still want to mention it. First of all, there is hell. The villain was David Dai. Agatha and Kallen, who met in Hell at the beginning, are completely out of the picture later on. If you didn't plan to write so many characters and forces, why did you write them out in the first place to give us expectations? At first I wanted to say that there was at least one overlord at the end who could have a little more graphics, but the result was disappointing. At the beginning, Hell was a world that even Mr. Kraft (Han Dong) was interested in, but in the end there was not even a scene, which is really disappointing. The human power of this book is equally difficult to contain. The human condition is less aggrieved than the previous two books, but the presence of human forces is even lower than in the previous two works. Malone and Captain Alex in Cell Prison, or Newton and Mr. Black and White all have a strong sense of presence. The Gentleman at the End also has Mr. Zed who I really like. As a result, the human power in this book is hard to describe. Only one fellow had a picture, but later on he killed all the human forces. Dyatlov, who originally thought he would have some drama, ended up being screened in the corner, and went offline at the speed of light without even knowing what his abilities were. Previously, I spent a chapter describing the names of several departments of the Bureau of Human Exploration and what their logos look like, but in the end there was no drama at all! Isn't this book in the suspense category? What about the suspense that was promised? It seems that it has completely transformed into a routine for killing monsters and upgrading. I can give it nine points for the first half, but I can only give it four to five points for the middle and second half. It's really far behind compared to my Cell Prison and The Gentleman of the End. Originally, I thought this book could be better in terms of honor compared to the first two books, and the exit index could be higher. I had a chance to get one glory star, but it didn't happen. Ah Fei's book does have many shortcomings and regrets. But overall, the quality of the film is very good. The following are some of my own opinions, and I hope Ah Fei can go further in his next work. In fact, if you have read H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu short stories, then you will find that the indescribable nature of Cthulhu is not tentacles and flesh, but a concept beyond human understanding. This book does a really good job in group portraits. Many authors don't know how to describe group portraits, so the scenes of supporting characters are too long and the plot is too tiring. Ah Fei did a great job in the final plot. Everyone has their bright spots, which are fleeting. Just by relying on a memory, the characters of the group portraits are firmly established in the readers' minds, and the supporting roles do not overwhelm the protagonists. Let's talk about the points that can be improved: 1. This is a common problem of Ah Fei: the pace is too fast to describe some settings. I only went to the real hell once and it became a roadside experience. The Three Musketeers of Hell originally said they were going to the corner, but ended up playing online games all the time. The long-established capital has no sense of presence. The Exploration Bureau on the human side has no role. The most important thing is that I think in Ah Fei's original conception, the corners should be more complicated than what is presented. He originally wanted to write about a world divided by multiple forces, but due to the length, he could only compromise. 2. The protagonist has too many misfortunes. It feels like the protagonist never stops. Writing it this way makes the story very one-dimensional. The originally complex corner world became a story line, completely unable to reflect the complexity of the world view. To solve this problem, you can learn from the Lord of Mysteries Next Door: set a goal for the protagonist, and then slow down the process. While encountering branch lines, advance the main line. Remember not to let the branch lines merge into the main line. Some side lines that have nothing to do with the main line can effectively expand the world view, just like an open world. 3. The plot progression is a bit boring. This can happen if the plot is too boring or repetitive, just like the plot of a cool novel can make people feel tired. Gustada can be said to have taken on the funny side of the book, but it's not enough. Ah Fei can definitely arrange some interesting and stress-relieving plots, and even cool stories about pretending to be a pig and eating a tiger. For example, the corner adventure of the Three Musketeers of Hell, or the protagonist's return to the Investigation Bureau to shock everyone. In fact, the limited humor and refreshing points will not destroy the atmosphere of the novel, but will clear the accumulated pressure in the readers' hearts and make them want to continue reading. 4. Some characters are outstanding, while others are weak. Mention a few examples. Yu Ze: There wasn't enough foreshadowing about his evil intentions. We could see what he was hiding, but the final change was too abrupt. Wu Wen: Too much emphasis on one's own interests and lack of description of elements such as dedication. The rest of the main characters are clearly good people, but she reads weird. Hunter: The strangest character to read. Ah Fei portrays his transformation well, but always ignores his sin. Ah Fei should not have set up the female agent whose teammates were killed by Hunter. She made us face Hunter's sins. Hunter does change his ways, and the protagonist forgives him. But every time I read about Henry's transformation, the female agent would appear in my mind. Can blood debt be erased by reforming one's past? A necessary part of Hunter's transformation was confronting his past sins. It's a pity that Ah Fei was not written this way, so Hunter's character is incomplete. 5. It can be seen that Ah Fei is trying to incorporate some thematic elements into the chapters of the novel. This has surpassed most writers who write "text" throughout, but it still has some shortcomings. Ah Fei only incorporates philosophical thematic elements at the end of the chapter. The chapter itself mainly promotes the plot, upgrades, and fights. Is it possible to set up a plot around thematic elements so that the theme can be carried out throughout the chapter? In fact, I think the Moon City part is the best part written by Ah Fei. It can be seen that he wrote it entirely around a theme, rather than putting upgrades first. One of the better online writers in this regard is Andlao, and I also like his works very much. Overall, I still like Ah Fei's work very much. I am very much looking forward to the game that Boss Han will personally control.

How can I put it, both "The Gentleman" and this one have been ordered. Although Ah Fei's writing skills have improved, this book has never given me the feeling of being as attractive as "The God of Death" and "The Cell" 😴😴 which made me stay up late to read it.
