For me, this is a definite plus point, because the author really thought about respecting the original work. The protagonist is not simply the author's alien visitor, but also a real part of this world. But let's talk about the shortcomings. First of all, it may be the shortcomings of the author's insufficient notes and the update mode of online articles. For example, at the beginning, the mage apprentice who was a herbalist was engaged in human experimentation with black magic. The author let him go to the forest to find elves to fend for himself. The readers thought that he was letting the tiger return to the mountain to create a boss. Of course, after the subsequent chapters, he died soon after updating. This kind of problem needs to be weighed by the author in his next work. Another thing that I personally don't like very much is Dandelion in this book. The main reason is that the plot in which he appears, especially the dialogue, has too many gags and is a bit worn out. I don't like this very much. The ending is also too fast at the end. Of course, this is actually because the data behind the work is not very good. The author has really worked hard to persevere, so it is not a big problem. It can only be said that this book is a bit untimely? The tone of the Witcher world is slow-burning. Nowadays, there are not many new people who like games like The Witcher 3, and more readers like cool and invincible articles. The first chapter is pretty good, but the rest of it feels weird. Also, the way Geralt is written is so weird. Isn't he a sullen, reserved person? Why is he hahaha all day long? He's too cheerful.

In addition, one of the reasons why witchers have a bad reputation is that they are said to be emotionless, cold mutant killers. If witchers showed their own emotions, they would not be rejected by so many people.

The writing is really good, and it has a bit of the feel of the original novel and game of The Witcher. I think the most attractive thing about witchers is the chaos of the world, there is no right or wrong, and witchers, as characters similar to knights (White Wolf is more similar, but not necessarily others), experience/participate in the stories of this world, large and small. Many fans put too much emphasis on the "feeling", but in turn they lose the "two sides of the sword" feeling in the world of the witcher. (Of course, there is nothing wrong with the author trying to attract readers, but I feel that if the current tone of the story can be maintained, it can also attract many readers who like it).
