The Eerie Grand Hotel

This is the only officially designated dining establishment in Fengdu City. The only dining establishment recommended by the Wheel-Turning Bureau, and an outstanding partner. A time-honored establishment with a ten-thousand-year history in the Underworld, and a famous restaurant in Fengdu. The only restaurant along the banks of the River of Forgetfulness, in the Forgetfulness District. Address: No. 1, Yellow Springs Road, Forgetfulness District, Fengdu City. Menu: House specialty pastry: Blossoming Flowers Across the Other Shore. Five qian of carefully selected mandrake petals, mixed with natural water from the River of Forgetfulness, kneaded into the dough and steamed. It looks like a flower bud just about to bloom. As it comes out of the steamer, the petals unfurl, hence the name, Blossoming Flowers Across the Other Shore. Its fragrance is irresistible, and it tastes mildly sweet, soft, and pleasantly chewy. A truly excellent pastry dessert. Signature dish: Phoenix Song Across the Other Shore. Free-range chickens raised on Golden Rooster Mountain outside Fengdu City are carefully selected, then stir-fried with leaves from the flowers of the Other Shore. The meat is firm, with a hint of tea-like fragrance. Absolutely delicious. After-dinner drink: Meng's Tea. It has no taste at first, but once it enters your mouth, a hundred flavors come alive, sour, sweet, bitter, and spicy, like the many twists of life. Warmth spreads through your body as it goes down, as if you have returned to a place of peace. Drink it, and forget yourself.
