I love fight scenes, but I love stories where the protagonist counters every move even more. They’re always full of unexpected thrills.

A Call to Fans of Doctor Novels
Perhaps because I never got to wear the white coat, I've always had some regrets, so I particularly enjoy medical stories. Watching authors bring professional skills to life through one medical character after another helps fill that gap for me. I don't enjoy every medical novel, though. I'm not keen on ones involving supernatural powers. Most of the books here focus on Western medicine, with a few about traditional Chinese medicine.

From the Heart
Read with caution. This list has a lot of unfinished books. Right now, it's a mix of fanfiction, food stories, career stories, and imaginative stories. The last category is for books I find intriguing! These are books I genuinely love and some I'm currently following. Sorry! I only update the list when I have time. Thanks for stopping by!
A Veteran Reader's Personal List: Completed After 2020
Just as the title says: a record of the completed novels I've read over the past few years. I'll also add some older books that are worth revisiting. Male-oriented novels completed after 2020.
In a Reading Slump? Veteran Readers, Come On In
I've added a recommendation rating system. Five stars: A must-read masterpiece in its category, the kind you'll regret missing. Four stars: A great pick in its category. Generally, a book needs solid prose, pacing, and plot to make the cut. Three stars: A mixed bag. Whether it appeals to you is up to the author's skill. My main recommendations are historical, gaming, and urban fiction.

The World's Secret Arts
My top pick is The Secrets of the World There are only so many endings, but beginnings are always full of promise. Stories may all follow the same patterns, but authors often put a lot of thought into crafting their openings. After that, many fall into the same old routines. A monkey's greatest skill is holding tight to the vine in its hand until it can reach the next one. We're the same. Until we find a better book, we keep following one story after another instead of letting them go. I'm b

My Reading List
Slowly remembering the books I finished in the past. Anything I managed to finish is a gem. I can only list 50 books, so for now, I'll put the ones I've read on my bookshelf. Still not enough room. The older books may not be as good as today's, but they're classics all the same, so I've kept them.
Ten Years of Hard Study, All for One Moment of Abstinence. Quit Porn
Karma never leaves a debt unpaid: The Merciless Laws of Yin, The Jade Calendar. For a compassionate heart that saves those in suffering: The Book of Longevity and Health.

Traditional Chinese Medicine | Spreading the Basics and Fundamental Knowledge
Definition of Traditional Chinese Medicine Traditional Chinese medicine originated in primitive society. Its theoretical foundations were largely established during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, and later generations continued to refine and develop them. It embodies the knowledge and experience accumulated by the people of ancient China in their struggle against disease. Guided by ancient materialist and spontaneous dialectical thought, it gradually developed into a system o

Thank you all for your comments and encouragement in previous posts, and I am even more grateful to Jiajia for publishing such a book, which will be my eternal spiritual food on the road to traditional Chinese medicine. The medical exam results came out tonight, and I am honored to have passed 361. Although it is not high, I am a formal medical practitioner. I am finally in this industry. The next step is to seriously study medical skills, develop real Chinese medicine, commit to the revolution of Chinese medicine, follow the path of pure Chinese medicine, and be a real Chinese medicine doctor like Xu Yang Gaoyuan in the book, dare to be the first in the world! I am willing to walk with you on the future road and jointly inherit Chinese medicine. The mountains are high and the roads are far away, we meet in the rivers and lakes🙏
I really like the two books written by Xu Yang and Gao Yuan. I have the medical exam tomorrow and I am still reading the book tonight. The plot in the book is deeply moved. It is simply spiritual food for the medical journey. I love Jiajia so much💕I want to keep reading it.
After reading the author Xu Yang, a Chinese medicine practitioner, I downloaded Qidian, subscribed to the full text of Gao Yuan, and after reading Gao Yuan, I bought the four classics, Circle Movement, Master Li's Medical Cases, Qu Limin's Interpretation of the Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic and Treatise on Febrile Diseases, and found all of Master Ni's Ji Tianji on a certain website. With the goal of curing my father, I embarked on the path of traditional Chinese medicine. Within ten years, I obtained the certificate of practicing traditional Chinese medicine, carried forward traditional Chinese medicine, and inherited the threshold of traditional Chinese medicine inherited from my grandfather for seven generations. Thank you, the author!
Hope it helps everyone
Four generations of Chinese medicine family, those who want medical books come to me
I think there are two important reasons for the garbage of traditional Chinese medicine. One is that there is a problem with the training system. The second is that Western medicine capitalists have hidden most of the effective and practical prescriptions and medical books from the light of day. The Barefoot Doctor Manual was made up by the original Shanghai College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. They don't have this medical book in their library collection? This medical book is very practical and can treat most chronic diseases today, such as chronic gastritis, chronic gastroenteritis, chronic enteritis, chronic nephritis, trigeminal neuralgia, migraine, urticaria, psoriasis, herpes, tonsils, pharyngitis, gout, heart disease, pneumonia, hepatitis. Even if the current doctors are not good at medical skills, they can cure the patient's disease by reading this medical book and directly applying the prescription. A layman who knows nothing about medicine, accidentally downloaded the Barefoot Doctor's Manual from Zhihu, followed the above prescriptions and tried the medicines, and was cured of 20-year-old chronic tonsillitis. It used to occur several times a year, ranging from a few months to six months and a year. It was very painful. Various major hospitals could not cure it. Every year, I have not had an attack since taking the traditional Chinese medicine in the Barefoot Doctor's Manual. The Barefoot Doctor's Manual also cured my pharyngitis, eczema, and gout.
The more I look at it, the more I admire it. Gao Yuan is a true hero. He recognizes the truth of life but is always full of passion to change the world. He is also a true idealist. He is always full of love and faith in Chinese medicine despite adversity. He is also a person with an innocent heart, who always maintains his own edges and corners but never forgets to be sincere to the people around him. Gao Yuan is really an outstanding person, and his light shines out the long shadow on me.
Yes, yes, Chinese medicine is really good. I saw the author's Yang Liang photo before. It happened to be that I started to have a fever, but because I didn't have a test kit at home, I didn't know whether I had a cold fever or a new coronavirus fever. After reading the author's response method after becoming infected, I realized that there are two symptoms after being infected with the new coronavirus. Suddenly I thought about whether I could use traditional Chinese medicine to deal with the condition. Because I am afraid of cold, my hands and feet are cold, my nose is profuse and clear, my phlegm is clear, my throat is moist, there is no sore throat, and my urine is profuse and clear. I judge that I should belong to the cold category. Looking for medicine, I found that nine out of ten medicines at home were wind-heat medicine (including Western medicine). Of the other three, one of them can be eaten regardless of the wind, heat or cold. One of them suffered from diarrhea. The remaining two, one is a cold medicine and the other is Guihuang Qingre Granules (adapted from Da Qinglong Decoction). . . I was shocked! I have made up my mind to prepare all kinds of medicines in the future! It was already evening, so I made a pot of ginger-red soup, and the effect was very good. I broke out in a cold sweat under the quilt, but because I wanted to take antipyretics midway, I got up again to find antipyretics. I found a quick cooling medicine. I took one piece The next day, I had a high fever of 40 degrees. After taking one piece, it dropped to more than thirty-eight. As soon as I slept at noon, it went back to more than thirty-nine. At that time, I planned to get through it and rely on my own immune system but later it rose to 39.7, So I took another pill, but it returned to normal a few hours later. At that time, I had a severe cough, and it couldn't be used with wind-heat cough medicine, otherwise it would conflict at first? So I really wanted to buy cold medicine at that time, but my mother said that there must be no medicine now in the drugstore. She didn't want to go, and I couldn't and didn't want to go out, so I stopped talking about it On the night of the third day, my mother called me and told me that she was at the drugstore now and asked me what medicine I wanted to buy. Because there are Western medicines that can quickly cool down high fevers, I just want to improve my cough, so I told her to buy Tongxuanlifei pills and Xiaoqinglong granules. Because I had a high fever without sweating, my throat was a little swollen and sore, and the temperature was 40 degrees, and my hands and feet were no longer cold at that time, I guessed that it might be external cold and internal heat, and the external cold was relatively weak I thought, drink one or two packs of Xiaoqinglong granules to remove the external cold first. Although ephedra may cause internal heat to be stronger, as long as there is fever and sweating, the temperature will naturally drop, and then I can use the treatment for wind and heat. You should still solve the problem first. Drinking a pack of Xiaoqinglong granules did not have any effect. My fever reached 40.1 Degrees and I had no sweat. Because of some things, I checked the Treatise on Febrile Diseases. Unexpectedly, I learned more about Daqinglong Tang. Because when I looked at Guihuang Qingre Granules before, my symptoms of general pain did not match my symptoms, so I didn't consider it. But now I find that I am very consistent with no sweating and irritability, and through various symptoms, such as oliguric and yellow urine, which becomes more and more yellow every time, and the temperature is usually close to 40 degrees, and the duration of the effect of rapid cooling medicine is getting shorter and shorter, and I feel that my internal heat is very strong. If the internal heat is so strong, but you still don't sweat and drink a lot of water, then it may be that the cold is strong and the heat is strong. And because western medicine is getting worse and worse, I have to find a way out. But I felt that the effect of Daqinglong Soup was a bit scary, so I didn't dare to drink a pack for the first time, so I drank half a pack. As soon as I drank it, the effect disappeared immediately and I felt much refreshed. I took a test right away and it was 39.7 Forty minutes later, it was still 39.7. I became a little bolder and drank the remaining half of the pack. I felt much refreshed again and immediately tested 39.4 Again. I went to bed after that. When I woke up, I found that my body temperature had dropped to 37.9. Chinese medicine is really useful! As long as you get the right treatment, it will really work instantly! Haha, I plan to learn the knowledge of Chinese medicine. Although I don't expect to have the ability to write prescriptions, I hope that I can at least solve some problems with Chinese patent medicines and learn to regulate my body! I would like to thank the author for that chapter, Yang Li, which inspired my interest in learning Chinese medicine (。ò ∀ ó。) Thank you very much
The love of a child, the courage of a hero, the hands and eyes of a fairy, the heart of a Bodhisattva
After reading a lot of comments, it seems that many people subconsciously believe that traditional Chinese medicine should restore ancient treatment methods, but I think this is biased. The return of traditional Chinese medicine is also advancing with the times. It is difficult to adapt to modern times if it is blindly conservative. Traditional Chinese medicine must also find its own new path! So we must also have expectations that Chinese medicine can advance first, although it may take a long, long time...
