I’ve been reading for ten years... Quality guaranteed!!! These recommendations are sincere. Every book I add is, in my opinion, one of the best in its time. Fellow readers, feel free to chat with me o(≧v≦)o I have a pretty sound worldview, a strong sense of the rule of law, and a good grasp of modern society, so I won’t read books that are anti-human or inhumane. In other words, I don’t read dark fiction. If that’s your thing, please look elsewhere. I have another flaw: I’m a bit of a neat fre
Long Completed Novels, Your Cure for a Reading Slump
We all know how hard it is these days to follow a book all the way to the end. A lot of people would rather wait until a novel is complete before reading it. My other list, “Seedling Maniac,” has more ongoing novels. This one is for completed older books that overflow from that list, as a companion list. The quality bar is: mainstream genres must be at least solid, while niche genres must at least be decent. Self-recommendations are welcome.
A Call to Fans of Doctor Novels
Perhaps because I never got to wear the white coat, I've always had some regrets, so I particularly enjoy medical stories. Watching authors bring professional skills to life through one medical character after another helps fill that gap for me. I don't enjoy every medical novel, though. I'm not keen on ones involving supernatural powers. Most of the books here focus on Western medicine, with a few about traditional Chinese medicine.
Great Books
All kinds of genres. You have to keep switching up what you read
Urban Master Detectives
If you don’t read novels for enjoyment, you might as well read a textbook! Most books on this list are urban feel-good fiction!
Memorable Reads I've Read
Fifteen years of reading on Qidian: recommendations
A Letter to Ease the Sleepless
Books are like wine: fragrant, strong, or rich. Their contents give them a mellow depth. Books are like songs: soaring, subdued, or sorrowful. Their contents make them sweet to the ear. Books are like paintings: vivid, dim, or understated. Their contents make them beautiful.
My Favorites
For personal use
Book Recommendations and Personal Ratings
A bit of everything.
The Sighing Wall
(This is not a recommendation list!) These are works I once thought were good but later could not continue reading. I hope they can offer a little reference for readers and authors: authors can learn which behaviors cost them readers, while readers with tastes like mine can see which pitfalls these books contain. I am also suffering from a reading slump, so please recommend some books. My tastes are broad, and I can accept most genres.
Amazing Classics Without Harem Leads (One or No Female Leads)
A mix of genres, preferably without womanizers.
Personal Favorites with Good Reviews, Not Beginner-Friendly
This list doesn't really have one consistent style. It's just works I've read that have something special about them and that I personally feel are worth reading again. I hope everyone can find something they love.
Main-Site Novels for Female Readers
As the title says, I don't like womanizers or stories that are too simplistic.
Single Female Lead, No Female Lead, Reborn, System, Online Games
⭐ More flaws than readability ⭐⭐ Worth reading if you're out of books, not bad. ⭐⭐⭐ Has some standout points (or it may be unfinished, or I may not have finished it) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good premise, plot, and worldbuilding ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good premise, plot, and worldbuilding, and complete (or especially recommended)
Books I Think Are Pretty Good
I've been reading novels for many years, and only recommend books I think are good
A 20-Year Qidian Reading Sage! Top Recommendations for 2023~
All of these are great books worth reading again and again 🍎
Hundred-Grass Garden Bookshop
There are fewer and fewer books worth reading these days. I've checked these out, and they're to my taste. I'll keep updating the list. P.S. I mainly read alternate-history urban entertainment and industrial fiction.
Books I’d Want to Keep Following
Over the years, there have been books I might read from beginning to end, or scenes, or moments, or characters, or ideas, or even the mood I was in while reading, that always come back to mind.
Some Completed Books I've Read and Want to Recommend!
I have been reading for many years. Many books have left a deep impression on me, while even more have quietly faded from memory. I suddenly felt like making a list to recommend the books I have read in recent years, while also leaving myself a memento. I do not like shallow wish-fulfillment novels. I will not read clichéd plots, messy writing, or padded content!
My Personal Collection
Pretty decent, I guess.
Books That Have Something to Them
1. Only books that have been featured in a major homepage promotion 2. Evaluated from an operations perspective
Books That Passed the Taste Test
The books on this list have pretty decent values. Sound good?

This book saved my husband's life
This book saved my husband's life. I really want to thank the author. My husband didn't feel well when I woke up after eight o'clock on December 30, 2022. Until about seven o'clock in the evening, my husband couldn't eat half of his meal. He had severe pain in his chest near the left armpit, and he felt like he was pressing a stone and he couldn't breathe. The meat was sore, and around 7:10 he was lying down sweating and nauseous. He felt much better after going to the toilet to vomit. Then he told me that he had seen descriptions of symptoms of myocardial infarction when he was reading novels, and he thought he was it. Then we called 120, but the 120 ambulance was very busy and had to wait, so it was easy to be delayed. It was suggested that we take a taxi there by ourselves, which would be much faster. We arrived at the hospital around 7:30. My husband was still very conscious. After doing an electrocardiogram in the emergency room, the doctor told me that it was most likely myocardial infarction. He started preparing for the operation. When signing, he asked me to be mentally prepared and pay the fee. Went for emergency surgery around 7:50. Around 8:40, the doctor called me in to sign and told me that all the blood vessels on my husband's right side were blocked and had been opened for him. From what I heard, the doctor seemed to have arrived in a timely manner and his tone was relatively relaxed. I went in again around 9:00 and was told that some small blood vessels were also blocked. I signed again and was not pushed out until after 10 o'clock. Fortunately, everything is fine. I have been admitted to the upper hospital. I am very awake and am now so sleepy that I fell asleep. My husband is only 28 years old and has been married for 3 years. Although I usually smoke a lot, I don't drink at all and I'm not considered obese. To be honest, I didn't think about myocardial infarction at all at that time because I was too young. He noticed it himself, but it was also because of this book that he had the opportunity to notice it. I am really grateful to the author for writing this book, and I am also grateful to Qidian for recommending this book to him. I am also grateful to him for really reading the book attentively. When I get better, I will use my number to book it all again!
Don't describe doctors as a vulnerable group. When patients see a doctor, they basically ask for help. When I go to see a doctor, they are very cooperative. All the patients during my treatment basically have a begging mentality.
Author, you are a doctor. Do you dare to pat your conscience and say that developing private hospitals can improve domestic medical standards?
Anyone who praises private hospitals in China is either stupid or bad. They are suitable to be used as street lamp pendants.
The writing is quite good. Compared with other invincible cheats, this weak cheat makes the reading experience more immersive. This is the only one I have read so far that was written by a graduate student. Most of the other online articles were written by graduates of medical undergraduates. Although I don't know much about what the current medical system is like, as an ordinary melon-eater, common sense says that the minimum threshold in a hospital now is to be a graduate student. I like the setting of the male protagonist very much, and the writing is also good. Come on, author!
I heard everyone said that you went to a private hospital, but I stopped reading because I was the one who was cheated. When I just graduated, the private hospital cheated me out of tens of thousands of yuan, which resulted in swiping my credit card. Finally, I was deceived by my friends into a pyramid scheme, and I was persecuted. My girlfriend also broke up. It was quite miserable, but I also recognized the nature of that scumbag. Anyway, doctors in public hospitals have more conscience. Private hospitals are really just for making money, and medical ethics cannot be eaten.
It turns out that internal medicine is so charming! From Xiao Wang next door who was obsessed with medical literature, to Xiong Da and Ling Ran, there have always been more surgical texts. It wasn't until I saw this internal medicine article that I suddenly discovered the charm of internal medicine. Come on, author!
Author, you told me that there will be a heroine. I have been waiting. When I came to Xu Shan, I thought I finally had one. I didn't expect that you suddenly forced a mouthful of shit. Giving away a girl was inexplicable. Gu Xinyue's character became inexplicable. Xu Shan also became inexplicable. This is the author who forced you to give away a girl. I don't know what the author thought. Let's leave it like this for now. Don't talk about it until you read it. It's disgusting! ! !
If you have any diseases you are interested in, you can leave a message. When I encounter suitable medical records, I will write them down and do some popular science.
As title. Mainly cardiovascular disease, but also diseases in other departments.
Physicians are so good-looking, and you can also learn some medical knowledge without needing to stick needles! Because of this article, I have become obsessed with medical articles recently, and I am anxious to follow it every day. I can't wait to update Chapter 10 and Chapter 20 of it tomorrow.
