Green Star is a planet divided up among the major conglomerates. Its history of civilization is also a history of war. Brutal global wars break out every century or so, each resulting in severe casualties. After nuclear weapons were invented, a delicate balance formed between Green Star’s major conglomerates. To prevent an apocalyptic nuclear war, they agreed to jointly establish the “Hunting” system. The Hunting system settles disputes through one-on-one combat, effectively controlling the scale and intensity of military conflicts between the conglomerates. After the system was established, the conglomerates began developing individual combat weapons. The Jiuzhou Group launched its “Ultimate Weapon Project”...
