Two Hundred Years After the Nuclear Apocalypse

After the world is utterly destroyed, someone awakens in a cloning pod, only to discover that the world has changed. On the primordial wilderness, some clones had language programs implanted in their brains when they were released. As a result, many animals, especially the clever ones, learned to speak like humans. They came to be called yaoguai. The early groups of released clones evolved over a long period of time, growing enormous and becoming incredibly strong. They ate yaoguai, while the yaoguai clans viewed them as food. Through rumors and garbled stories, they came to be called wu. When Chen Qiao awakens in a cloning pod, he discovers that clones of normal size like him are called dwarves on the primordial wilderness. Both the yaoguai and the wu consider dwarves food, but also excellent craftsmen. Chen Qiao doesn’t think he’s a dwarf. He believes that he and the people behind him, all of normal height and intelligence, should be called the human race. His mission is to lead the entire human race and help them survive.
