Iteration: Ruins

This is the first volume of the Iteration series, following His Excellency Number Six's Two-Volume History (I have omitted some of the more wordy worldbuilding in this volume). His Excellency Number Six and Hehe are by the same author. This volume mainly depicts life in the Shenzhou Circuit under the Xia court. The central plot revolves around the gathering of outstanding talents and the convening and emergence into the world of the Immortal Obsession Wasteland. The Shenzhou Prefectural Office carries out a series of reforms surrounding these two events. This volume also features the sweet everyday moments of the hero and heroine in their youth. It is the first half of the saying, “The splendor we experience in life must ultimately be repaid with loneliness.” Tang Rongqu, the first steward at the Foundation Establishment stage in the Shenzhou Prefectural Office, is ordered to reform the office. Zhang Jian of the Exquisite Moon Palace conceals his identity while spying on construction affairs at Yunya Mountain. Li Jianwei, an inspector and traveling official at Yunya Mountain, discovers who he is. After fleeing, Zhang Jian returns to Zhonghua City without a care in the world. Act One: Tang Rongqu is coming with his men to arrest Zhang Jian!
