After Picking Up a Big Shot

Perhaps every unexpected encounter in this world is actually a carefully engineered, forced meeting.

The first time Ye Wu met Jiang Yuhuai, he was drunk and clinging to her adorable little lamb, deliberately throwing himself in her way. Though they didn’t know each other, he kept mumbling her name.

The security guard said, “Ye Wu, he knows you. Why don’t you take him home for now?”

The chubby auntie from the building next door said, “Ye Wu, did you do something to hurt him? He looks so heartbroken!”

Ye Wu: ...

The second time Ye Wu saw him, he was sitting pitifully by the roadside with a backpack in his arms, his eyes watery like an abandoned puppy.

“I don’t have anywhere to go. Could I stay at your place for a while?”

At the time, Ye Wu thought: If you didn’t have such a pretty face, who’d bother with you?

At first, Ye Wu thought Jiang Yuhuai was just a shameless little hoodlum. Later, she found out he was a rich second-generation heir who’d turned his back on an easy life to become a big-shot outdoor streamer, always going wherever the danger was!
