Why did I abandon "City Warlock"?
Seeing that "Warlock Around the City" has been completed, I am delighted that Black Robe has successfully completed another work, but at the same time I feel very complicated. I am also one of the readers who has reduced the order of "Warlock Around the City" from 10,000 high order to 4k. Taking advantage of the opportunity that Black Robe has finished this book and started a new journey, I would like to say something from my heart. Why did I abandon "The Warlock of the City"? I first met Heipao Da in "Watching the Dawn". It was really amazing. His writing style is smooth, his imagination is big, the plot is compact, and his IQ is online. When the traditional unlimited flow began to decline, I felt love at first sight, and I started to pay attention to Heipao Da from then on. Then I came to "The Warlock of the City", with a stunning start, a grand setting, a wonderful plot, and an infinite world of travel. I really felt that this book had the potential to become a god, so I started killing it when it reached 200,000 words and followed it all the way. But why would I give up on such a wonderful book? 1. The protagonist is too perfect. Backed by the God of the Gods, he has his own system of ladies around the city. He has an invincible aura as a stallion, an incomparable IQ, a beauty that is loved by everyone, and a group of loyal 100+ strong men. He can win in the face of disaster and take advantage of all the benefits. There are no accidents in life. ... If placed in the historical text of the Three Kingdoms, he would be the general He Jin, Yuan, Cao, Sun, and Liu Tangqian's younger brothers, Chen, Xun, Jia, and Cheng Zibi's disciples, and the lackeys of Wei, Shu, and Wu generals. , Dong Zhuo holds the sword to clear the way, Lu Buti rides to guard, Diao Chan, Xiao Qiao, Zeng's harem, once the Ling Emperor dies, he immediately kills the eunuchs and takes control of the world. What is the value of this kind of Three Kingdoms literature? 2. The harem is endless. I probably saw the pit that the protagonist abandoned when he was defending the city against the demons. I wonder if there is a 500,000 word? With just that few words, how many women can come out? As far as I can remember, there are beautiful bosses, ex-girlfriends, girlfriends' best friends, elf princesses, beautiful mercenaries, grand duchess daughters, the Duchess of Hell and her best friends, and demigod druids. These women have basically the same characteristics. They have profound backgrounds and are beautiful. They all favor the protagonist and take the initiative to kneel and lick her when they have the opportunity. Not to mention anything else, the setting of this book is based on DND. What are the concepts of the Duchess of Hell and the level 30 Druid? This mentality of being a strong man in all planes is like that of a little girl? I love you every day and you love her? The protagonist's journey and the main plot are all about planting seeds in the world? 3. Lack of sense of immersion and unrealistic characters When I and other assholes read online novels, they always get involved unconsciously and have adventures with the protagonist. But isn't such an awesome protagonist just here to slap me and other assholes in the face? To sum up, the characters lack realism, such as the emotional female lord of hell, the team of archdukes who dote on their daughters without any boundaries, the perfect protagonist, various women with facial makeup (such as the duchess of hell and her best friend, what is the difference in personality if the character background is changed to that of the ex-girlfriend and her best friend?), And speech and behavior that do not fit the character's image. (I would like to mention here that there are many inexplicable complaints and jokes in the article, which are not only not funny, but also easily make readers laugh. After all, this book is a Western fantasy novel, not a Japanese two-dimensional novel). These characters who lack realism cause the book to have a poor sense of immersion. Reading the novel from time to time also interrupts the reading experience, making people lack the desire to keep following it. 4. In the final analysis, I personally feel that there is a problem with Heipao Da's positioning of its readership. Is it targeting students in their 20s who have not yet graduated, or people in their 30s who have entered society? If it is for the former, students who have not yet entered the society have a relatively simple way of thinking and are full of fantasies about the future, then the book should be simpler and more straightforward, do it if you don't accept it, push for women, and follow the path of the invincible god. If it is for the latter, 30-year-old social people have been slapped in the face by life and know that life is not that simple. And what about this book? There are too many ambitions, and I want to have both sides. It also has various layouts, plot twists and turns, and provides various plug-ins to provide benefits to the protagonist. For novice readers, the book is secretive and unpleasant. For experienced readers, the book is too straightforward and unreal, and it does not please both ends. I am afraid that is the reason why the subscription of this book has not been increased. 5. Finally, I wish Heipao Da's new book will fight against his ambitions. Of course, if I am asked to give my opinion, the new book I hope to see should be: (1) The protagonist is not so perfect, has shortcomings and advantages, and is more like an ordinary person. He can have cheats and backgrounds, but not too many to crush the opponent; (2) The harem must be cautious, one real heroine is worth 100 ***, and from the readership point of view, harem books The first step is to isolate all female readers, thus losing half of the potential readers; (I looked at the top 50 of the Qidian monthly ticket list, and there is no harem stallion article); (3) Heipao Da puts aside his high self-esteem, and the unrestrained complaints in the article are really meaningless and do not increase the sense of reading; (4) Finally, do not pursue ideal and natural perfection. For example, when did I give up on "Watching the Dawn"? It was when Zhao Min entered heaven to work as a clerk for the protagonist. This plot completely turned me off, and I no longer had the desire to read the book.
I have mixed feelings. After reading the first volume, I was very happy to find an exquisite novel during a book shortage. So I excitedly subscribed to all subsequent chapters. The author did not disappoint, and the quality has always been very guaranteed. But when I saw the plot of GTA, I started to regret it. I probably shouldn't have been so impulsive about subscribing all of them. First of all, I feel that although it is a bit helpless for Huancheng to enter the map-changing routine in the mid-term, it is still barely acceptable. But I never expected that the author would directly write it as infinite. A novel, you suddenly change the subject after a million words? What are you thinking about? Novel is not a department store. You can buy whatever the subject matter is popular with you. The novel is the product itself. If you have to add a machine gun or a parachute to a good hard-core knight figure for him to eat chicken, it will look very weird. Although I was a little worried about the dark dungeon, I saw that it finally came back. It was not just infinite, but had cause and effect. But this part of gta is really too confusing. Readers who want to read GTA and urban pretense have more choices, but the readers who come here and insist on reading millions of words are attracted by ring cities and fantasy adventures. What do you mean by adding a paragraph about GTA? The author also said later that he found that no matter what plot he wrote, he could not receive feedback from the subscription. If he wrote well, he would not be successful, and if he wrote badly, he would not be disappointed. So a self-rescue attempt was made. But I have to say it's disappointing. It was really painful for me to read the gta section, but as early as the first volume, I impulsively subscribed to it all, but I didn't want to spend money to suffer, so I had to skip it all. I didn't want to read a word of the gta section. It was so strange, and it appeared out of nowhere. I'll just start watching the next episode. But if the author still insists on this hodgepodge style of writing, adding a little bit of everything, then I may have to leave and find some more specialized novels. I wish Huancheng will get better and better as he writes more. After all, there are not many authors who can write supporting characters so vividly.
About the author's new book This book has long been said to end quickly because it cannot be controlled, but! ! He is still updating now! ! ! Feeling more and more boring
Why don't I watch Warlock anymore?
When I saw the completion of Warlock of the City and the author's final words, I felt very mixed. I was a fan of this book at the beginning, but gave up on it. I am a fan of the fact that the book has dropped from a high order of 10,000 to an even order of 4,000. 😅 First of all, congratulations to the author for successfully completing the book. I also want to take this opportunity to say something. What's on my mind: The first time I met Hei Pao was in "Watching the Dawn". I was really surprised. The content and plot are full and unconventional. The writing is smooth and the IQ is online. It completely gives me the feeling of meeting a great god by chance. As the first book of Hei Pao, there is no feeling of astringency and the reading experience is excellent. At that time, I had great expectations for Hei Pao. When Heipao opened the new "City Warlock", I immediately collected it. When it reached 200,000 words, I opened it and followed it all the way. I really thought this book could become a god! The beginning of this book is very attractive, the plot changes naturally, the protagonist uses his brain to eat, the main plot is exciting, and there are many foreshadowings. Why should I give up? In fact, these are the following points: 1. The protagonist is too perfect, completely lacking in realism and the hardships of growth. This is the biggest reason why I gave up the game. How to say it? Switching to urban or official novels, the protagonist is backed by the first elder and the second elder. His family is extremely rich, he is handsome, his IQ is 250, he has obtained 20 doctorates at the age of 15, and he is surrounded by all kinds of fair and beautiful people who actively kneel down and lick the protagonist. Isn't this typical Jack Suvin? Why are you struggling when you're such a dick? A sign of good fortune in times of adversity, a slap in the face to deal with difficulties? 2. The harem is completely intellectually depressing. When I gave up, it was probably when the protagonist entered the first world and helped humans defend the city against demons. I wonder if there are 500,000 words? How many women came out in such a short time? I don't remember very clearly, but there should be a beautiful boss, a girlfriend, a girlfriend's best friend, a female warrior from the adventure group, an elf princess, a grand duke's daughter, a demon duchess, a demigod druid, etc., And these women are all intoxicated by the halo of the protagonist, and each one is more awesome than the last. The setting of this book is based on DND. Leaving aside other women, what are the concepts of a demon lord and a level 30 druid? This powerful man who spans multiple dimensions actually kneels down and licks the protagonist like a little girl? The Demon Lord still succeeded by chatting online? This feeling of incongruity is the second reason why I gave up; 3. The third reason is that Hei Pao is self-promoting. The original protagonist, Jack Su, has made me and other idiots have no sense of involvement at all, just to follow the storyline, but Hei Pao will occasionally let the characters in the book complain or add some jokes, without considering whether it is in line with the character's personality. Heipao is so high; 4. In the final analysis, the biggest problem of Heipao's "The Warlock of the City" is that the positioning of the book has been wavering, and the customer group has not been found correctly: for example, Jack Suwen in the harem first dismissed female readers, leaving the rest Some of the male readers below, like me, who have been in the society for many years, pay attention to the authenticity of the characters, a sense of substitution, and the tension of the plot; the other part are noobs who have not yet entered the society, just a word of "shuang", a direct slap in the face, a direct harem, an invincible god.
I feel like I'm insulting my intelligence by watching this group of harems, but the sunk cost is so high that I actually watched so many of them, and I'm angry ╰_╯. All the clues and plots are there. It's okay at the beginning, but then... Do you really want to make money? It's both delicious and delicious, but if the perfume is strong, it will stink. In order to write the article about the harem, please say it clearly, please! Most of the harem still has real feelings... It was okay at first but later on... People change, why did those group of women all just laugh and decide to hang around later, meow meow meow? But the person described is not pursuing love, but something else! So what does the protagonist think? I thought deeply that either the main character was so hungry that he lost the charm of the protagonist, or that he felt like he was about to collapse. I shouldn't have read it in the first place, don't reply to me, I wish the author would put a harem tag on the introduction.
To be honest, I like reading Lao Lei's books mainly because I like to see the cool operations, and the operations have relatively explainable logic and a lot of imagination. Although there are many doujin elements, there is absolutely no sameness that many doujins have. Many fan fiction protagonists feel like they are following the plot, like a small wave in a big wave, changing a little bit of people's fate, but doing nothing to the overall trend, and they are a bit petty. The protagonist of Lao Lei has the feeling of riding a huge wave. The plot is important, but the protagonist can use the power of the plot to control the direction and reverse the entire trend, which gives him a sense of heroism.
I feel like the early stage was too messy, and it was confusing to watch. Moreover, looking at the character building, the heroine is a wife who has taken over. I hope the author can write better in the next book.
I hope more people will read Lao Lei's books, I hope more people will love to read Lao Lei's books, I hope more people will subscribe to Lao Lei's books, I hope more people will read Lao Lei's books seriously, I hope Lao Lei's fans will always support Lao Lei! I hope Lao Lei will always be healthy and live a happy life!
It seems to be getting more and more boring. I feel like you have lost any passion and inspiration for writing, so you might as well cut it off completely.
Everything Lao Lei writes is beautiful! Happy New Year to Lao Lei! May all your wishes come true! May all go well with you! 😍😍
Another one is finished. The story is as fascinating as ever.
Well, maybe I'm not very sensitive to the protagonist's personality. Although Lao Lei explained in a single chapter that Lao Lu is calm and has nephritis and is young, but specifically in the book, it's still hard for me to tell the difference between the two. In my opinion, the two are almost one, every time When I closed my eyes and thought about the personalities of these two people, I always thought about the kind of people who sing songs while holding a rocket launcher in circles, shoot rockets at the person who is being plotted in astonishment, and then continue to carry the rocket launcher in circles while singing and firing.
What a stupid book. I read two chapters and it took me 20 minutes to give this chapter a thumbs up.
The monthly votes are full, and there are 10,000 rewards. Lao Lei, why don't you add more? There happens to be an event.
I like Lao Lei's books, which have a "romantic" feel. For example, the appearance of "Arrow Man" here has the feeling of a "superhero movie", such as the part in "Dawn Watch" where the new Elona sets sail for a trip, visiting beautiful alien planets, using super-light navigation to photograph the changes in nebulae, etc. Super touching!
Cry, cast two or three monthly votes, and recommend 8 votes per day. I just like to see Lao Lei Yan'er being bad. But Lao Lei is giving up, woo woo woo
In fact, I feel that the name of Lao Lei's book is more appropriate to be called "My Bohemian Life". Like Brother Sanlang, he has all kinds of promiscuity. 🤭🤭🤭
Let me tell you a true story about running a group. It's true, just treat it as a joke. The PCs (players) discovered a group of gangs abducting children for begging and stealing at the dock, and decided to eradicate the gangs. Then I found out that the gang leader's wife lived in the xx pub. As a result, other teammates said that they would consider the long term, and Leng Touqing, a level 1 little paladin, went to the tavern to threaten the boss, but was frightened by the boss (passed the intimidation test). Then the PC felt shameless and placed the detection camp randomly in the tavern, and everyone in the tavern stood up 😃 As for what happened to this little paladin? A group of people ran to the dock area, and were dropped directly by the minions at the door ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭The teammates saw that she was knocked unconscious and ran away, and then she was thrown into the sea by the minions. (Tearing cards is an important part of the game, don't play if you don't feel comfortable with it) (What was I doing at that time? Of course I was a happy DM)
It turns out that the volume of "Chasing the Swan" was okay without looking into it carefully. I picked it up again today and saw the Nikita chapter. What is this about? I can delete three-quarters of this chapter without affecting the reading. It's a bunch of bad jokes. It turns out that Dawn Watch had this problem in the later period. The memes became more and more niche. Lao Lei himself became more and more high-spirited, but as a reader, I became increasingly incomprehensible. This is also the case now, and I am becoming more and more free of myself. Long Kong once wrote a book review that was particularly good: I opened the book and looked at it. The words "funny and humorous" were written on each crooked page of the book. I couldn't sleep anyway, so I read carefully for half the night, and then I saw the words between the words. There were a few words written all over the book: "Laugh! Everyone makes me laugh!"
The recent plot has been very boring. I have messed up several gods, but I have to lower my strength and go back to messing with children. I also regretted voting for the monthly ticket at the end of the month after seeing the latest ones. I knew I was in a bad situation. In what age are you still playing Qiong Yao dramas? If you don't know what to write, just take a break. Don't fool around with plots scheduled for 8:30. People who come to read your book probably have little interest in reading these things.
I'm speechless. It's just a self-pleasure article. What is the author writing? I'm vomiting. There are so many people who are blind. What kind of rubbish are those who recommend the book?
I've seen about thirty chapters, and I'll give you a brief review. Writing DND has always been a problem. I have read this author's previous works, and the values have been written to collapse from the middle. And in this book, when Goldfinger said that you can develop extreme attributes in more than 30 chapters, I also realized that sooner or later it would collapse. The biggest problem for the author of this book is that he cannot put aside the numerical value. He always struggles with the strength of numerical values like a newbie in a group or is obsessed with the overpowered characters made by some veteran players, which takes up a lot of writing space that could be used to advance the plot or improve the characters. The most important thing to imitate when writing DND novels is the indifference attitude toward tabletop games like the Dark Elf trilogy or the Dragonlance series - learn to ignore the numerical values and look at the characters, instead of being blinded by the numerical values. But this book is finished anyway. If I have a chance to read the author's new work, I don't know if there is any progress.
I read about 40 chapters. The setting story was quite novel at first, but later on I forced myself to make all kinds of embarrassing jokes funny, I forced a lot of meaningless narration, and my own nonsense analysis had nothing to do with the advancement of the plot. Also, the author's forced comedy is probably considered an advantage by some red fans, but I can't stand it anyway.
I opened the book and took a look. The words "funny and humorous" were written on each crooked page of the book. I couldn't sleep anyway, so I read carefully for half the night, and then I saw the words between the words. There were a few words written all over the book, which were "Laugh! Make me laugh!"
I saw Chapter 60, hey Does the author play lol? When you play lol, do you have as many thoughts as you want to get a solo kill every time you add a minion after going online? Everything can be separated into a chapter. I have been waiting for what you said to advance the plot, and I kept waiting. It turned out that it was the same as before. You said you didn't believe in the three golden chapters, but what about the golden thirty chapters? You are always slow to advance the plot, and you always want to lay out the settings. Occasionally, you also add some saucy stories, and you can fill two chapters of chatting on the road. I would say that you are stupid, but you are not! Just give some work after all the foreshadowing. You just foreshadowed too much. There are 60 chapters and there is still a lot of setting. Sorry, I can't even read it and put it on the shelves! Gone PS: I have read a novel before, with paid chapters. The protagonist appears in front of others and then becomes a saint. The author uses about 10 chapters to describe various psychological stories of the people around him. I support you, you are really stupid!
The male lead and female lead actually sold the welfare photos of her boyfriend to her best friend. She is an old green slave. There is such a best friend who covets her boyfriend. Why not keep it for the New Year? What's even more disgusting is that the best friend not only has sex in her head, but also directly seduces the male protagonist while his girlfriend is in a foreign country? Disgusting, absolutely disgusting. Forgive me for not being able to understand your magical green emotional line.
Tsk, forced comedy, all kinds of rubbish narration, and you were so weak in the early stage. You didn't burn the body even if it was there, and you had all kinds of emotions. You can't bear it, are you waiting to die? I'm sorry that you came here as an afterthought after it was over 😴😴
This book always seems to be lacking in taste. After thinking about it, I think there are too many scenes of gods. Novels are all about telling stories. If a story is always about deus ex machina, it would be too boring. If a novel is always obsessed with how my golden thighs look and how the background looks like, it will indeed lose its interest. When thinking of the protagonist's nephritis, what does the author think of? Career, ability, talent, or something else? All I see as a reader is blood. Everything about the protagonist is determined. Naked fatalism and lineage theory, and the author reminds readers of this every once in a while in the novel, which is extremely boring.
It's really hard to meet an author who likes to force jokes and make jokes but the writing is really interesting. The quality of the book is beyond words and makes me want to keep reading. But the author seems to be afraid that he will have too many readers, so he must use inappropriate humor as he writes. There's no problem with humor, but this book clearly feels like it's trying too hard, like a comedy-fantasy practice book. I hope things will change in the future. Although I have written so much, I still have to keep reading... After all, it is so difficult to find an interesting book during the book shortage. This book is also a source of good news 👍
Why am I so confused after seeing the first few pictures? What is the author trying to describe?
