The Evil Prince's Peerless Demon Consort

In the Imperial Garden, the ten-year-old Fourth Prince of Dongli bared his fair little arm and tempted the little girl before him. “Call me Daddy, and I’ll let you drink.” The little girl spat out the grass stem in her mouth and called crisply, “Daddy.” In the study, the fifteen-year-old Fourth Prince wiped a drop of blood from his fingertip and coaxed gently, “Call me big brother, and I’ll let you drink your fill.” The little girl tossed aside the incomprehensible scribbles before her, threw herself at him, and called him affectionately, “Big brother.” In the bridal chamber, the twenty-year-old Fourth Prince lifted the bothersome red veil and offered the little girl his graceful, swanlike neck. Through gritted teeth, he said, “Call me husband, and I’ll let you drink for the rest of your life.” The little girl shook out her wedding dress and smiled innocently. “Big brother, isn’t it inappropriate to flirt with your younger brother’s wife on the wedding night?” She was the only pure-blooded Holy Son born to the Blood Domain Clan in nearly a hundred years. Because she had stayed in her mother’s womb for fifteen months, her biological father suspected she was an illegitimate child and handed her over to the family steward to dispose of as soon as she was born. She was the most adored little daughter of the General Who Guards the Nation’s household, doted on by everyone from the day she was born. When she was five, the general’s household was framed and exterminated, down to the ninth degree of kinship. After meeting her just once, the eccentric and brutal Fourth Prince of Dongli claimed her as his daughter. From then on, she embarked on a melodramatic quest to cling to her adorable young daddy’s coattails. He had suffered from a strange illness since birth. Apart from his birth mother, anyone who so much as touched the hem of his clothes would make him vomit and faint, yet he alone received the emperor’s special favor. From childhood, he was thrust into a position second only to the emperor, The Outcast, only to discover that his beloved father had merely made him a shield and a whetstone for his brothers. Cold-hearted and detached, he nonetheless let that little girl slip into the softest part of his heart without even realizing it. Now that she had entered his heart, she would never leave his side for the rest of her life.***************A little excerpt: “Oh no, Mother, Zheng’er has a headache and feels like throwing up!” The little boy clung to his mother and slyly stuck out his tongue at the person approaching. Grandpa Gong said this was how Daddy had latched onto Mommy, and nobody could pry him off. Before the woman could check on him, the little boy in her arms was tossed aside. A man’s growl rang in her ears. “That’s my wife. If you want someone to hug, go find yourself a wife.” “Stop it. Maybe Zheng’er inherited your condition and can’t go near other people,” the woman protested. The man snorted. “I got better when I was five. He only developed it at five. What kind of strange illness gets inherited like that?” Note: This story has powerful male and female leads who dote on each other, melodrama, and an adorable baby.
