1 病 The Sickly Master’s Thousand-Layered Schemes 病美人师尊的千层套路 Deer Eater食鹿客Baihe (GL)785k WordsCompleted 151.9kFavorites158.8kClicks/ch221.2kGifts

Curator note

The writing style of "Deer Eater" can be given full marks in Lily's novels. It is vivid and smooth and can withstand careful reading; the characters are also remarkable, and there is no problem of template or labelling. The more criticized aspects are: the appearance of a male calico cat that can transform into a boy; the slowness of the traditional upgrading immortal novel in the early stage slightly dissuades readers who are not used to it; the plot of mending the sky at the end is quite OOC (or it can be said that the protagonist's performance in the end is not a perfect protagonist); the two maternal characters created by the mother's past in the extra story are relatively subtle, and it is difficult to say whether it was a failure in writing or deliberate. But among Baihe novels, this work can be said to be "a glimpse of all the mountains and small mountains", and it is undoubtedly a classic work.

2 穿 Transmigrated Before the Scum Alpha Could Torment the Heroine 穿到渣A折磨女主前 Peanut Brittle花生酥糖Baihe (GL)508k WordsCompleted 77.4kFavorites130.7kClicks/ch55.9kGifts

Curator note

This is the most normal book among the dozens of various indescribable ABOs that I have read. When the core jokes are already quite common, the author uses non-greasy writing, slightly rare characters and relatively normal gender concepts to restore the perception. Recommended for people who can accept the scumbag jokes.

3 医 The Immortal Physician Doesn't Want to See Patients Today Either 医仙今日也不想接诊 Deer Eater食鹿客Baihe (GL)400k WordsCompleted 63.5kFavorites66.6kClicks/ch104.2kGifts

Curator note

It is a work with the same world view as the previous work of Deer Eater. There is no ups and downs in the story line, and the pen and ink are concentrated more on the emotional drama. It is recommended for those who like to watch lesbian cookies. However, the very different personalities of the two protagonists made this work inexplicably involved in the weird controversy of "whether xx is sorry for xx". Overall, it's not as attractive as its predecessor.

4 时 Fourteen Years of Time Difference 时差十四年 Lin Zizhou林子周Baihe (GL)455k WordsCompleted 46.3kFavorites30.1kClicks/ch43.3kGifts

Curator note

In my personal opinion, the best Lily novel of 2023. Lin Zizhou's delicate writing, soothing story rhythm, and extremely realistic modern background make the seemingly clichéd characters shine with unique brilliance

5 续 Extend Life 续命 Eight Cups of Water a Day一天八杯水Baihe (GL)677k WordsCompleted 44.4kFavorites52.3kClicks/ch54.6kGifts

Curator note

Personally, I think this is the best work on Eight Glasses of Water a Day. The good writing skills are very suitable for the atmosphere of ancient fantasy themes; the character design of "frail and sick but dark and intelligent" is not very novel. The same is true for the protagonist in "The Sick Beauty Master's Thousand Layers of Routines", but Yun Shuchen is more eloquent, and the protagonist of this work is more cunning in dealing with things, which makes the reading unique.

6 仙 The First Straw Bag in the Fairy World 仙界第一草包 Ask What Brings You West问西来意Baihe (GL)416k WordsCompleted 18.7kFavorites21.4kClicks/ch15.7kGifts

Curator note

The gender concept of Asking the West has always been relatively reassuring. The protagonists are all female, and the character settings of some male villains are beyond reproach. It's just that the consistent emphasis on plot and light on emotions will make readers (such as me) who like emotional dramas unable to help but sigh. This is one of the author's works with a more natural emotional line.

7 猫 Cat Allergy Syndrome 猫猫过敏症候群 Soda Shark汽水鲨鱼Baihe (GL)411k WordsCompleted 16kFavorites15.6kClicks/ch13.5kGifts

Curator note

Lily's work has a slight light novel style. Between the lines, you will feel that the author must be a two-dimensional person (she really is), but it does not have the strange Japanese flavor of light novels. There are almost no male characters in this heart-warming fantasy-style story worthy of praise and worth watching.
