The Curious General Store

This is an unremarkable general store.

But here, you can buy all kinds of things with extraordinary effects.

An herbal sachet to hang by your bed so you can fall asleep in no time, a wooden carving to hang behind your door that blocks out all noise, earplugs that let you hear other people's thoughts when you wear them...

"This item is sure to meet your needs, but please be sure to follow the instructions. Otherwise, if anything goes wrong..."

The shopkeeper smiles brightly. "The store accepts no responsibility."

After yet another bizarre case, a certain detective, here to investigate for the Nth time, asks, "You really didn't do anything?"

Shi Fei pats his clothes. "I'm just a shopkeeper. Customers come to buy things, so I sell them things."

He folds his arms and smiles. "What else could I do?"

Notes:

1. Episodic stories, about ten chapters each. Some have horror elements, but not all of them are creepy!

2. No CP in this story. There is no romance between the detective and the shopkeeper.

3. The shopkeeper isn't a villain. He really is just a shopkeeper.

Theme: Do good with all your heart, and good and evil will be rewarded in the end
