Apocalypse Journal

(An apocalypse story, a mixed-race major general x an apocalypse survivor)

When the virus strikes, will you lie flat and wait to die, or fight with all your might?

The zombie virus is a terrifying threat. It attacks the central nervous system and mutates its victims. There is no cure for anyone infected. The virus sweeps across the globe, society collapses, and everywhere you look is a desolate wasteland.

Then one day, an extraordinarily vivid and beautiful night-blooming cereus suddenly blossoms in the wasteland.

“Instructor, do you believe in love at the end of the world?”

“I only know that a night-blooming cereus lasts but a moment.”
