(Rookie cop Lin Yi x seasoned veteran Xiao Pei)

Jiangcheng, Yu'an City.

"I don't take rookies. Why are you following me around?" Xiao Pei holds an incident report and looks at the officer in front of him with a grimace.

Lin Yi quickly stands at attention. "I'm sorry, Master."

Lin Yi: Who gets it? I just got here, and my master is already giving me the cold shoulder!

Xiao Pei: Who gets it? Why do I have to train a rookie again?

But who could have guessed that these two who couldn't stand the sight of each other would gradually become each other's most indispensable support?

Neither of them could have imagined that one day they would become each other's most dependable ally.

"Why did you become a police officer?"

"Because... I've been in love with this navy-blue life for a long time."

Lin Yi solemnly writes in his diary: I used to think being a police officer was merely an honorable but frustrating profession. But it wasn't until I actually put on my uniform that I understood the responsibility and mission behind the badge.
