[We will eventually reach the very heart of the flames]
WB: August Lights Fire
[Support Core X Shooter King]
This is a MOBA game called Ode to Flame (Ode of Flames).
Whenever Chi Yi and Ye Qi log on, OTF viewers reach for the mute button first. The support's healing hasn't even run dry, and already the trash talk is blasting across the map; the rookie ADC misses minions like a sieve, but his insults hit more accurately than his abilities. Their team fights are a complete mess, while their verbal sparring runs wild across the Rift.
They roast the world and themselves, and flame the heavens, the earth, and their opponents.
They curse east and west and thin air, and mock their teammates from north to south.
They shout back and forth at the referee, and argue with the coach every which way.
They blame the game mechanics from left to right, and criticize every patch, past and present.
They mock the audience inside and out, and snap at the league from top to bottom.
In short: the Rift's source of noise.
The league specifically introduced a new rule in response: To ensure fair professional competition and uphold the rules of civilized esports, all-chat will be disabled in the OTF Pro League starting next season.
Their opponents, already driven to the brink by the mental pollution in the Rift, howled at the sky: Aaaah! The league finally did something right!
(The characters are not based on real people.)
Theme: Esports takes skill
