The Taoist Priest Insists I'm His Lover from a Past Life

1.

Zhu Jiayu opens the door, and a man dressed in white as pure as snow, covered in blood, collapses toward him.

The man says they were lovers in their previous life.

The heart-shaped birthmark over Zhu Jiayu's heart is the man's heart.

2.

After taking a shower, Zhu Jiayu walks past the man's room and glances inside.

Under the dim floor lamp, the man's shadow is cast on the wall.

“A thousand years ago, you couldn't beat me. A thousand years later, you're still just as pathetic.”

The man clenches his fist. The dark shape in the shadow's hand on the wall gradually disappears.

Zhu Jiayu's eyes widen in terror. He covers his mouth tightly.

3.

The man wraps an arm around his waist, his warm breath brushing Zhu Jiayu's neck.

Just as things are about to go further, Zhu Jiayu presses a hand to his chest. “A Zhi, how did I die in my previous life?”

The man strokes his cheek and is about to answer when a howling wind suddenly rises outside the window.

Someone is pounding hard on the door.

“Focus.”

The man turns his face toward him and presses a tender, lingering kiss to his lips.
