He Came Back After I Ran Away with His Child (Matriarchy)

Wen Tangyu stared at the man in front of her, whose belly was already visibly swollen, and her mind went blank.

He kept insisting that he was carrying her child, but she had a whole courtyard full of male consorts, and she hadn't touched a single one of them.

It wasn't until he recounted every detail of that night, right down to what she had worn beneath her clothes, how many moles were on her chest, and how many times she had taken him that night, that images began to surface in her mind.

Her forgotten memories came rushing back.

It seemed she really had forced herself on him while drunk, then promptly forgotten all about him afterward.

Looking at the man gazing up at her with wide, innocent eyes, what else could she do? She would just have to spoil him for now.

Who knew that, as she spoiled him, she would fall for him?

Lou Baiying had gone to seek refuge with his aunt, only for her to send him to the Crown Princess's residence as a male consort. The good news was that the Crown Princess almost never visited her inner court, and he could enjoy good food and attentive service. The bad news was that the drunken Crown Princess had taken him by force, then promptly forgotten all about it.

As his belly grew day by day, he ran away. Halfway there, he suddenly came to his senses. Why not use the child to secure his place? Leaving like this would be a loss!

So he ran back.

Who knew that the Crown Princess still hadn't remembered, and didn't even know who he was?

Looking at the bewildered Wen Tangyu, he planted a kiss on her cheek and blushed as he said,

"Your Highness, do you remember now? That night..."

Wen Tangyu clapped a hand over his mouth and pinned him against the wall.

"So this child really is mine?"

"If Your Highness doesn't believe me, I can help you relive that night."

[Bonus Scene]

After giving birth to Wen Tangyu's eldest daughter, Lou Baiying was cornered by Wen Tangyu at the hot spring.

The sheer fabric on his body was soaked through, revealing the faint outline of his waist.

Wen Tangyu pulled him into her arms and pressed a warm kiss to the corner of his lips.

"A-Bai, you once said we should relive that night. Why don't we start now?"
