Jiang Yaozhu has never gotten along with Su Louyan, the son of the Prince of Jiang'an, who has been renowned across the capital since childhood. But recently, she's discovered that she has strange dreams every night.
At first, she only dreamed of holding Su Louyan's hand and kissing his outrageously handsome face. Sometimes she'd go a little further, pinning him in a corner and teasing him until he furrowed his brows, the corners of his eyes pink and damp, and he panted as he scolded her for fooling around, saying she shouldn't do it outside next time, and that going to his room would be better.
So whenever she saw him, she couldn't help feeling guilty.
She had planned to ignore it, but one day she was horrified to discover that every night, she was entering Su Louyan's dreams.
Not only did she carry the sensations from the dreams into waking life, she also found strange marks on his body that should only have existed in the dreams.
To keep anyone from discovering that she was taking liberties with Su Louyan in her dreams every night, she began avoiding him. But the more she avoided him, the more uninhibited she became in the dreams, crossing the line again and again. They even visited all sorts of strange places, from studies to gardens...
Jiang Yaozhu was exhausted. Suspecting she'd fallen under some kind of witchcraft, she went to a Daoist temple to seek an expert's help. The expert told her that she lacked yang energy and could break the spell only by drawing it from the person in her dreams.
To break the dreams, she began trying every way she could to draw Su Louyan's yang energy, progressing from hand-holding to kisses. Gradually, she realized he was like a greedy venomous snake, wrapping himself around her tighter and tighter until she was terrified.
Then one day, she realized that none of those things had been dreams. They had really happened, and Su Louyan was a complete madman.
That night, she waited until he was asleep, packed her things, and tried to escape. She hadn't gone far when she began to feel dizzy.
When she woke again, she was still in the room, with Su Louyan's bright, noble face beside her. Now, though, it was filled with undisguised obsession.
When he saw her wake, his warm, moist lips brushed across her fearful brows. Smiling as usual, he asked, “The dream hasn't ended, so why are you running?”
Jiang Yaozhu's answer displeased Su Louyan, and the scenes from their dreams played out again, only this time he treated her even more outrageously.
