After Being Widowed, She Married a Powerful Man

(P.S. An uncle-and-sister-in-law pairing with a forced-possession plot. I'll make it a standalone story if enough people want to read it.)

Synopsis: Shi Zhian had a white moonlight in her heart. He had been gone for many years.

She'd thought that, even if she couldn't marry him in this lifetime, she would at least spend the rest of her life keeping watch over him as Song Yunshen's widow.

That was until a man named Song Guanqian became entangled with her.

.

At first

Song Guanqian smiled, but there was no warmth in his eyes as he took her hand. His voice was refined and gentle. "Sister-in-law, before Second Brother left, he said he couldn't let you go, so he asked me to take care of you."

She knew this man. He was a deranged madman.

Song Guanqian brought her back to his residence. Everyone there assumed she was a lowly concubine and bullied her.

But she didn't care. All she needed was to see a face that resembled her white moonlight's by eight-tenths.

Seeing them bully her, Song Guanqian smiled faintly. "Sister-in-law is pure and chaste, a person like Guanyin. But I'd like to see another side of you..."

His hand rested wickedly at the small of her back. His tone was ambiguous, and he lifted his elegant brows, his voice tender as if full of deep affection. "Would you let me, sister-in-law?"

Shi Zhian lowered her eyes and said nothing. She was as pure as a holy Bodhisattva enshrined upon an altar. He could do whatever he wanted with her.

As long as that face was still there.

.

Song Guanqian had always believed that the living could defeat the dead, and that he deserved everything Shi Zhian had to give.

But later...

Jealousy filled his beautiful eyes until their corners turned bloodshot. His cold lips repeatedly landed in a frantic rush on her face and neck as he murmured his plea: "Shi Zhian, you should look at me. You should love me..."

From beginning to end, Shi Zhian remained unmoved, gazing at him with a compassionate, gentle expression.

She didn't love him.
