What Do I Do Now That My Online Chat Companion Turned Out to Be My Ancestor?!

Zhiwei is the newest junior sister to join the Nine Swords Sect.

Born a mortal and with no resources to cultivate, she can only make ends meet by working herself to the bone doing odd jobs. To keep her grueling life from getting her down, she finds someone on her jade slip to chat with and relieve her stress.

Her chat companion says he's a rogue cultivator currently traveling all over.

Zhiwei pays him five spirit stones a month to keep her company.

They share their daily lives and talk about everything.

Since finding her chat companion, Zhiwei has noticed she's become much luckier:

The cafeteria staff no longer skimp on her spiritual meals.

The day after she complained about the Task Hall elder, he was dismissed and investigated for taking kickbacks.

The senior brother who targeted her after she rejected his confession was expelled for bullying fellow disciples...

And when she went to the Sword Tomb to choose her bonded sword, she even obtained an ancient divine weapon!

Because of all this, Zhiwei is convinced her chat companion is a lucky charm, and she starts talking to him more and more every day. Later, the Nine Swords Sect holds a trial, and her chat companion says he'll be there too. Zhiwei dresses up, brings a gift to meet her online friend, and calls him through her jade slip.

The call is answered in less than half a second. The voice is right beside her.

Zhiwei follows the sound and looks up...

The young man on the high platform is waving and smiling at her.

Is this her chat companion?

Zhiwei's eyes go wide. If she remembers right, her master just called him Grand Ancestor!

A little something about a cow-cat boy Grand Ancestor and a laid-back, gentle girl.
