After Becoming the Savior, My Brother Keeps Wanting to Lay Eggs with Me

Extraterrestrial invaders arrive, and the insect queen builds towering flesh nests across the world. She lays eggs that feed on human consciousness, turning people into incubators for worms.

Humanity teeters on the brink of extinction. The dead include Shu Shuo's older brother.

To avenge him, Shu Shuo joins the human resistance. Driven by hatred, she becomes the organization's strongest recruit, making her debut by hunting down an insect commander with overwhelming force.

As her enemy lies dying, it lays an egg. Under Shu Shuo's wary gaze, the egg cracks open.

A boy crawls out.

He looks exactly like her dead brother.

The mysterious boy from the egg smiles at her and says:

"Shu Shuo, I'm back."

.

Shu Shuo tries a hundred different ways to kill the boy and fails, so she takes him home and confines him there for the time being.

The boy calls himself "Shu Wang," the same name as her brother.

Shu Wang is very well-behaved.

He cleans, takes care of all three meals for Shu Shuo, and even draws a hot bath for her before she gets home.

Shu Wang shows no violent tendencies and is quite friendly toward humans. There's only one thing unusual about him:

Whenever Shu Shuo is about to sleep, the boy always crouches beside her bed.

He takes Shu Shuo's hand and presses it to his cheek, smiling with flushed cheeks in the dim light. In a gentle voice, the boy asks:

"Can I, with the same face as him, lay an egg inside you?"

.

The extraterrestrial worms are parasites from the depths of space, a collective consciousness that humans have named "Brain Devourers." Their high-ranking officers can parasitize another person's mind and take their place.

Cang was badly injured when he first arrived, burned by the atmosphere. As he neared death, Shu Wang saved him and willingly offered to let Cang inhabit him.

So after Shu Wang died, Cang inherited his name, body, and memories...

As well as his little sister, and his love for her.
