When the Moon Sees the Sun

Gentle, reserved top student * aloof, cool female genius | Mutual pining + rekindled love + equally matched leads |

During the summer between sophomore and junior year of high school, a transfer student joined Class A, the physics, biology, and geography track, at No. 3 High School.

The transfer student was cool and aloof, with a bowl-cut hairstyle, and wore a baseball cap every day. She never took off her black mask, either.

She was also a distinctive top student. A month after the school year began, most of Class A only knew her name was Xu Qingyun. Mu Anping, who actually knew her, didn't dare ask about what had happened to Xu Qingyun's family. Back then, she had transferred away without a word.

Before the school sports meet, Xu Qingyun was kept behind by a teacher.

By the time Mu Anping, burdened with the heavy mission of cleaning the classroom, came outside, dusk had fallen and the campus was deserted.

A familiar person was leaning against the cherished tree by the school gate, brazenly making a phone call on his phone. When she saw him, she hung up. "Yeah, I don't need you anymore. I'm going with my friend."

Friend?

Mu Anping turned to look, but there was no one behind him.

His deskmate picked up her schoolbag and urged him to hurry. "Come on, Mu Anping. We've known each other for years, no need to be so formal. Let's go. I don't want some dog snatching my phone."

At their coming-of-age ceremony, Xu Qingyun finally took off her mask and cap in front of everyone. The scar beside her cheek glinted under the lights, but even brighter were the dreams in her eyes. Her radiant face was even more captivating than Mu Anping remembered.

She kissed her deskmate, who had always been gentle and handsome, and whispered that she had overcome her hardships and was ready to choose her own happiness.

Mu Anping asked softly, "Am I one of your candidates?"

Their unexpected reunion: the moon was still the moon, but the sun no longer shone.

The sun could give the moon its light, but how could the moon shine down on the sun?

Theme: The sun that saves the moon can also be warmed by the moon.
