Traveler in the Moonlight

Ying Nian is a traveler. She has crossed mountains and rivers, and is utterly exhausted. Lost, she makes her way alone through a forest. It seems like a fairytale world, with glowing mushrooms, butterflies unafraid of people, and a sweet, warm-hearted little girl.

Wangshu is a forest guardian, charged from birth with protecting the Moonchasing Forest. She has never seen the world beyond the forest, until Ying Nian comes walking gracefully into her life beneath the moonlight.

Yet they each wish they could live the other's life.

Theme: Everyone has their own role to play, and every life has its own meaning.
