No Crossing the Line, Deskmate

Ji Lin, the top student in his year, hated three things most:

1. People touching his books.

2. People interrupting his studies.

3. Xu Zhao.

And the new transfer student, Xu Zhao, did all three.

"Physics Olympiad champion x math prodigy admitted on recommendation"

Xu Zhao was born rebellious. Ji Lin had rules etched into his DNA.

So Xu Zhao drew a turtle in his book, stole first place from him in the competition, and even...

Picked the lock on his bedroom door during a stormy night.

"Ji Lin, your heartbeat is so loud."

Later, the whole school knew that the aloof top student had a rule: "No crossing the line."

And Xu Zhao was the one and only exception.

- Two top students keeping each other in check / A sunny shou flirts an secretly-in-love gong into a goofy grin

- "He crossed the line between us, and I willingly surrendered."
