Why Won't the Immortal Lord Give in to Mortal Desires?

Updated daily at 12:00 and 18:00 sharp. If an update is delayed, I'll let you know in advance.

The Immortal Realm's most aloof sword has fallen for the mortal world's fiercest flame.

"He cultivated the heartless way for three hundred years, yet drew his sword against the laws of heaven for her."

Yan Zhao is the most unconventional female cultivator in the mortal world.

Half a step from ascension, she sweeps her sword across the Eight Wilds, yet the Immortal Realm brands her a heretic for cultivating the way of the mortal world.

The day an exiled immortal descended, frost and snow blanketing a thousand miles, she stood atop the mountain in blazing red and split the Immortal Lord's heartless sword intent with a single strike.

"Yun Jian, your sword is trembling."

Yun Jian is the Immortal Realm's coldest executioner.

Having mastered the heartless way, he punishes in Heaven's name, and no soul has ever escaped his sword.

But when that flash of red entered his sight, the memories sealed away for three hundred years began to break apart.

"Yan Zhao, you are the only crack in my Dao heart."

[Side Scene]

The Immortal Realm's people: Slay the heretic!

Yun Jian (swinging his sword to cut down the laws of heaven): I find her cultivation quite marvelous.

Yan Zhao (hooking a finger in his sash): Has the Immortal Lord developed mortal feelings?

Yun Jian (the tips of his ears turning red): ...Shut up.

"Come one inch closer, and my Dao heart will shatter a foot" x "I insist on making you, immortal, taste the mortal world"

"If the Heavenly Dao forbids us to love..."

"Then I'll change the laws of heaven!"

"Yun Jian, tell me, which is harder: your Heavenly Dao or my sword?"

"...You win."
