Six months later, the United Federation ordered everyone to evacuate the Western District. The Western District fell, and non-powered people were forbidden to enter. Before that, plant species and animal species had already occupied the Southern and Northern Districts respectively.

Humanity had only one base left: the East.

Her new friends learned that she had been living in a fallen zone and enthusiastically filled her in on all sorts of things:

For example, Ji Bei, the leader of the animal species, could kill hundreds of alien species at a time, had a terrible temper, and disliked humans.

Lin Manman, the strongest fighter among the plant species, never let a grudge go, and her vines could monitor everything happening across an entire city.

And then there was the powerful Ling Que, whose mood was unpredictable and who attacked without distinguishing friend from foe...

She looked at the familiar yet unfamiliar figures in the pictures, her expression slowly turning to stone.

After introducing them all, her new friend told Xu Yun in a hushed voice, "According to inside information, these big shots have been acting strangely lately and meeting up all the time. The higher-ups suspect that subversives have joined forces with them to restart the war against humanity."
