[Hunter X Hunter] Top Student Simulator at the Zoldyck Family

Since every exam you've ever taken, from childhood on, ended with a score of zero, you are unlucky enough to get bound to the Top Student Simulator and transmigrate to another world.

The System says you have to graduate top of your class from this vocational training school, or you'll be erased.

[Now, Host, begin your journey to academic excellence. We wish you success in graduating alive.]

Wait, is there something wrong with that last sentence?

Before you can think it over, you're thrown into the first tense and thrilling exam at the Zoldyck Family vocational training school--

Simulated Scenario 1:

The target enemy is highly resistant to poison, has no Nen Ability, and is currently walking alone along a poorly guarded path. What would you choose to do?

A. Find a high vantage point and use the terrain to your advantage, using a weapon such as a sniper rifle, with a silencer attached in advance, to assassinate the target.

B. Disguise yourself as a defenseless woman or elderly person, pretend to ask for help, then catch the target off guard and slash the most vulnerable part of his neck with a concealed dagger.

C. Use Nen directly, and, with the ease of crushing an ant, swiftly rip out the target's heart.

And you choose--

To sneak up behind him and club him over the head, then throw some cheap itch powder at him.

As it turns out, the target is allergic to the tree sap in the itch powder. He dies because he doesn't receive effective allergy medication in time. Mission successful.

You: That works? (sighs in relief)

System: That works? (in disbelief)

The black-haired, black-cat-eyed proctor: That works? (thoughtful)

After training that can only be described as hellish, you finally graduate at the top of your class (because 99% of your classmates died during the exams, and you were the only one to survive to the end).

Just as you're happily thinking you've saved your own skin, your usually cold and aloof teacher, Illumi, proposes to you.

The reason is that he thinks you're a born killer, and that you were meant to be part of the Zoldyck Family.

Wait, isn't this a vocational training school?

How did it turn into a Zoldyck daughter-in-law training school?
