Can Pure Hatred Work?

■ [Main story complete]

[I hate you. It's a curse more twisted than love.]

The whole story has been revised and proofread.

You have a crush on Satoru Gojo. Or perhaps you admire him. It doesn't matter anymore.

Because it's all over.

--

You think you have a crush on Satoru Gojo, and you hate Yuta Okkotsu.

It's been that way since your first year at school. Perhaps because you have close ties to the Big Three Families, Satoru Gojo has always treated you with cool politeness. He acts like a model teacher, never clowning around in front of you, always keeping himself in check and observing proper etiquette.

So you envy Yuta Okkotsu, the boy who was singled out on his very first day and told to look after you. You envy him for wearing the white uniform of the Jujutsu High, for the high hopes placed in him...

Eventually, that envy turned into hatred. You hate that he didn't step in sooner. You hate that he took over Satoru Gojo's body. You loathe the scar on his forehead. You wish you could strangle Yuta Okkotsu as he lies on a hospital bed, clinging to life.

But you can't, because the future of all humanity rests on these five minutes.
