Wen Xu thought the man doubted he was a reporter, so he straightened his back. “I really am a reporter!” He’d only just landed a permanent position! But the ruggedly handsome man suddenly pointed at Wen Xu’s glasses. “What happened to your lenses?” Wen Xu: “...” Could he be any more old-fashioned? They were part of the outfit! At a loss for how to explain, Wen Xu sighed. “Just take me to Professor Shi.” “I’m Shi Yuanchuan.” The man’s gaze was still fixed on the empty round frames. “Should I help you look for your lenses first?” Wen Xu: “...” - That was how Wen Xu first met Shi Yuanchuan.
