Please Remember Me

[Synopsis to be revised! Title to be revised!!! Everything needs revising! I'm just saving a spot for now, qwq]

This is Zhao Zixi's second time being reborn.

His parents died when he was young, and he was raised by the kind old director of an orphanage. But on his nineteenth birthday, the old director passed away, and that was also the day he met a System.

The System gave him one year. If no one remembered him by then, Zhao Zixi would disappear. Zhao Zixi didn't want to die. He still wanted to see more of the world. But he was inarticulate and had few friends, just like an invisible person whom no one would remember.

So he became a gaming streamer, hoping to leave a trace of himself on the internet. But the internet was never short of streamers. And so, on a rainy night when no one knew he was gone, Zhao Zixi disappeared from the shabby rental room he called home on his birthday.

When he woke up in that room again, Zhao Zixi stared blankly at the mottled ceiling.

What should he do this time...?

The diary beside him always held the same few lines, but the strokes grew heavier each time:

[Stay happy]

[Eat properly]

[Be a good person]

[Keep trying to live]

[Remember to miss me]

Please remember me, he thought. Please remember me.

A few things to know before reading:

1. The protagonist is shy, not much of a talker, and easily embarrassed. Deep down, he has his own fantasies and longs to be loved, but he is also very strong. He's a poor little thing who has to live on instant noodles and steamed buns, scrimp and save, and rent a tiny room with terrible soundproofing (gestures emphatically).

2. Older man/younger man romance.
