Sorry for the irregular updates. The story will end soon. Thank you for adding it to your collection!
There is a bookstore on Curio Street, tucked away in a secluded corner reached by winding turns. The owner, always wearing a nightingale mask, keeps watch over this quiet little world all year round.
The dim yellow light inside illuminates the shelves packed with books. Every book is waiting for the day someone opens it...
"Hello, welcome to Curio Street. Would you like to come sit in my bookstore for a while?"
Each chapter is a standalone short story, and I might write in any genre. I hope you enjoy reading!
Here are a few snippets:
1. Loop
"Li Mo, this world is a loop."
2. "Blind"
"Whatever you do, don't let anyone discover that you can see!"
3. "Who Killed Miss Z?"
[My classmates said I killed her, crushing her with my prejudice.
My parents said I killed her, with my oppression and cold indifference.
Mr. X said I killed her, with my violence and arrogance.
Miss Z said I killed her, with my cowardice and avoidance.
I killed myself.]
4. Returning Soul
"Xu Fuguang's soul returns to the sky and vanishes into the earth."
"The wind has stopped."
17. "Life"
"Look, plants sprout from our bones. Our blood waters them and gives them life. Our skin and flesh are made into fertilizer."
"And so, the color of blood becomes prosperity, bringing flecks of green to this world of gray. These are colors we cannot see from the ground."
"The gods who live in the sky are man-eaters."
And here's a little shameless plug for my new story and completed work!
Entertainment Circle Savior's Handbook [Infinite] and Miss Q's Diary of a Secret Crush (Sorry, I'm a genre-hopping dove / grovels)
About this story:
Updates depend on inspiration, hehe. If I run out, I'll wrap it up, since reading too much bad writing can be a burden too (sobs).
I really don't like forcing myself to write when inspiration isn't there... Sorry (T ^ T)
Thank you for crossing paths with me! I'm so happy to have met you, and I hope we'll meet again in the future!
(Whispering this, but my favorites are the second, fourth, ninth, seventeenth, twenty-first, twenty-third, and twenty-fourth stories, hehe // help, I like so many...)
Theme: Life can be good or bad. Even when things don't go your way, live positively and optimistically!
Although this is a collection of short stories, it is really good! The following comments may contain spoilers, so read with caution [Spread Flowers] Let's talk about my personal opinions: Story 1: Rebirth, inheritance, the cycle of one's self and the external self. A circle, like layers on top of a death cruise ship. Personally, I feel like I am constantly becoming "me" in this story, but in a cycle, there seems to be growth, but always back to the starting point. Is zero. Story 2: Infinite warning to myself, starting over, seemingly finding hope, and then finding myself falling into the abyss forever. Still zero. I really like the profound meaning of this part, but I dare not go into details. Story 3: The heroine, who seemed to be transcending herself, seemed to have hope, and resigned, was suddenly shattered at the last moment. I feel very immersed in this story. This is how my mother treated me. My teenage years were full of suffocation and I fantasized about being able to reverse everything. But just like the story, all the counterattacks and resignation are like the bubbles of dreams, which are suddenly burst. Is zero. Story 4: This story is one of my favorites and seems to have come to a successful conclusion. But perfection is also zero in another sense. Story 5: I understand this at first glance, hahaha. In the high school life of being in jail, Wu Kun studied painfully every day, and his soul was also in jail during holidays. It was so real. There is also zero desire for hope. It's been a long time since I've stayed so long to read a book slowly, and then took longer to write a review than to read it. I have deleted and revised it, revised and deleted it, and I just want to say that this work is the most thoughtful one I have read recently. Thoughtful. But I don't know if my understanding is wrong. Too many zeros make me a little worried about the baby's mental state. I worry that the baby is in the same state as me. The baby who is polite and enthusiastic to the outside world is desolate in his heart and sees no hope or way out. Therefore, it is "zero", which is an endless cycle. Hope my understanding is wrong! Baby! Be good! The book is good, and so are you!
What a neat and tidy one
They actually liberated 🐶. I thought they would be suppressed, enslaved and committed crimes again later, and then the cycle would be repeated 🐶 But this article has a very high intention! Very inspiring and positive! No matter where you are, don't lose your rebellious thinking and fighting spirit [Spread Flowers]
I feel this article is very profound. My personal understanding is that the reason why Yuan Hong jumps repeatedly between the normal world space and another terrifying and eerie world space is because the real world where Yuan Hong lives is too depressing, which leads to Yuan Hong's great mental stress, resulting in this kind of vision and a state similar to sleepwalking. The unreasonable management system of middle schools in the real world, the academic pressure of senior high school students and the pressure from teachers, etc. All weighed on Yuan Hong, making Yuan Hong overwhelmed and "numb", which corresponds to the description in the article that when the real fire came, Yuan Hong's sensory numbness thought he was still in a dream. This can also reflect the depressed mood of some high school students in reality. Regarding the cycle of Yuan Hong dying but still going to school in the end, I prefer to understand that even if the depressed high school student has graduated and escaped such a "hell" environment, he still has the sequelae of this experience deep in his heart, and this sequelae will not disappear, but will always exist even if it fades with the passage of time. In short, I feel that there is still a lot worth thinking about in the article. For example, in the middle of going to the medicine room, Yuan Hong was caught by the monkey's paw, but he was actually found by the school doctor. The purpose of alienating the school doctor into the monkey's paw is worth pondering. (Logical confusion, only personal opinion)
In fact, the emotional line is really well written () I don't know, I naturally like knives hehehehehe I will recommend it to my friends who only love cookies 🐶🌹🐶🌹
