You're Different from Everyone Else

Let's do a little journal entry this time, and write about myself for a change. Hmm... it's going to be pretty scattered.

I suppose my experiences shape what I write, which is how Song Tianhe, Zhao Zixi, and Zhu Miao came to be.

I didn't mean to write them that way. It's just that whenever I write their stories, my pen has a mind of its own. They're really easy to write, among the characters whose stories have flowed most easily from my pen.

This journal entry is a little negative and a bit of a mess. I'm mostly writing it like a diary, just putting down whatever comes to mind...

If hardship is the soil of literature, how much hardship do I need to grow words that resonate emotionally with people? I'm kind of curious.

There's also a line I really like. I wrote it myself a long time ago. I found it while flipping through my diary. It's childish, but it's a treasure I left for myself: "If you can't be happy every day, then make every day a happy one."

(I drew the cover myself... It might not look very good. Sorry.)
