[Honkai: Star Rail] Black E’s Faction Is Burdened with Thirty Million Turns of Sin

After learning that Amphoreus, the world he lived in, was merely a program constantly simulating the world's destruction, and that he was just a tiny piece of data in its calculations of that destruction...

Baiheng decided to save his world.

As long as he made good use of his ability to reload and start over, he could rewind time just before the simulation succeeded.

[Number of cycles: ████]

Baiheng: "It's all for the sake of saving the world. Surely you can understand."

Aglaea, with Baiheng's sword pointed at her: "Heh."

Baiheng: "My companions, forgive me for stopping you and killing you time and time again. But I promise you, my desire to save Amphoreus has never changed."

Cipher, impaled and coughing up blood: "You killing me is one thing, but you slaughtered my hometown too?!"

Baiheng: "Even if I have no choice but to become the enemy of my former companions, I won't stop. Like Cyrene, I'm someone who never wavers, in every sense of the word."

Mydei: "Savior, is this why you pursue me in every cycle?"

Baiheng: "...I'd call it devotion."

The fact that his tenth thoracic vertebra was obsessed with the Prince of Castrum Kremnos wasn't his fault. The golden-red man shone as brightly as ever in every cycle, and after it happened once, it was hard to...

Baiheng covered his face, desperately wishing for the world to hurry up and give him the variable he needed. He wasn't afraid of burning himself to ashes. He was afraid he wouldn't be able to stop the world's destruction, and that by the time the cycles had driven him insane, he would do something irreversible to the Prince of Castrum Kremnos.

[Number of cycles: 33,550,336]

Baiheng: "...At last, you're here, my companion."

Once the cycle ends, the urge to bite the Prince's tenth thoracic vertebra will finally subside, right?

Reading guide:

1. Baiheng is a top through and through.

2. Lots of internal monologue. The classics belong to the original, the OOC belongs to me.

3. Literary yet lighthearted, we're a feel-good story.

Theme: The firewood gathered by many will eventually drive away all the darkness.
