I Overheard a Ghost's Thoughts

Qi Huaimo suspected something was wrong with his ears. He kept hearing strange, inexplicable voices.

For example, the moment he lifted his shirt while taking a bath, a voice would ring in his ear: "So pretty. I want to lick him so badly."

Qi Huaimo jumped, and somehow he could actually feel a tingling sensation.

His fair cheeks instantly flushed bright red, and he hurriedly lowered his shirt in fright.

He looked around, but there was no one else there.

Another time, as he drank some water, a drop ran down his lips. He reached up to wipe it away, only to find it had already dried.

The voice sounded again in his ear: "So sweet."

When he went to bed, just after he lay down, a voice suddenly echoed in his ear: "So warm."

Terrified, Qi Huaimo ran eight hundred miles and knocked on his friend's door in the middle of the night.

"There's a ghost in my house! And it's a pervert!"

*

Xun Zhao was a nine-tailed fox. After suffering a serious injury, his soul split in two.

His main self fell into a deep sleep, leaving only his silly little self awake most of the time. But that little self had actually dared to grow attached to a human while he was asleep.

Worse, he had completely ruined his reputation. A pervert? He was an honorable demon!

"Be good, Zhaozhao. Let me see your ears and tail."

How dare this bold human order him around, and make such a shameless request?

"No..."

Before he could finish refusing, something popped out of his head and his backside, and a wicked hand reached toward him.

With his ears and tail all tousled, Xun Zhao floated over to the mirror.

"Don't make that face."

He narrowed his eyes at his reflection and reached out to pull down the corners of his lips.

He was a demon. He absolutely would never fall for a human.

[Little Scene]

Qi Huaimo sat in the bathtub and said to the little Xun Zhao perched beside it, "Bring me my bath towel, and I'll give you a kiss. How about that?"

Little Xun Zhao went off, wagging his tail.

Qi Huaimo stroked his fluffy ears and planted a loud kiss on his cheek.

Just-awakened main-self Xun Zhao: ...A human kissed me. I'm tainted now...
